But considering what you said about Ortiz, why do you think Wilder isn't getting the credit for that win that he should? What does he have to do?

He tried to fight Povetkin who failed several PED tests, then tried to fight Andrzej Wawrzyk who failed a PED test (he ended up fighting Gerald Washington instead), then tried to fight Ortiz last November but he also failed a PED test. Then everybody said Wilder "ducked" Ortiz, then he came and fought him in March and K.O'd the heavyweight boogeyman Ortiz. Now they're saying he's ducking Joshua.

What does Wilder have to do?
      I don’t know

There’s probably nothing he can do except keep trying to get the best names in the ring and hope they don’t pop dirty and keep dropping his A-bombs on them and knocking them out. But the thing is most top end HW are going to fight AJ if they have the chance because he brings more $ to the table and while he has legit power if it lands it isn’t going to make them have a seizure in the ring like a Wilder punch

Wilder just has to keep winning and hopefully his profile keeps growing and fans will demand other top names to face him

Like I said a high % of boxing fans are groupies for a handful of fighters and hate everyone else especially a fighter the see as a threat whether they publicly acknowledge it or not .some AJ fans claim Wilder ducked Povetkin because he tested dirty and the fight didn’t go down . They’ll also claim Wilders a bum and fought nothing but bums if that was the case you’d think they’d be chomping at the bit for AJ to get that last strap for such a easy fight

Wilder should be getting a tonne of praise for the Ortiz fight simply because Ortiz is probably the most skilled HW and has been avoided by any of the top HW for years and Wilder chased that fight and won when he could have been like everyone else and avoided it with little to no public repercussions.

Hearn didn’t want no part of Ortiz for AJ , Fury wanted no part. It’s no different then all the 122 guys avoiding Rigo like he had AIDS and only got the Loma fight when he was so far past prime and had to jump up 2 divisions

      Sorry for the novel

Until the KO, Povetkin looked over the hill against Price

Who has Ortiz actually beat? He's slow as ****, I guarantee Joshua puts him away early, the speed difference is ridiculous, as u would expect from a man in late 20s to a guy realistically in his late 40s

What has Ortiz ever done? Trouble wilder? Why not have Molina in the top 3 then?

I can't believe people are trying to say Ortiz is more skilled than Povetkin.

I mean, apart from the Olympic gold medal and having the better professional resume, what has Povetkin ever done?

lol. Let's look at this objectively shall we? Rather than the Wilder beat Ortiz so Ortiz has to be better way.

Ortiz is famed for his "amateur pedigree" where he had a fantastic record of a reported 343–19... but lost in every major international amateur tournament.

Povetkin on the other hand had a short amateur career... and won the European championships twice, World championships once and was the Olympic champion (that Ortiz never even qualified for).

Povetkin also has a better professional resume, having been the WBA regular champion for a while, whilst Ortiz was only ever the interim champion.

They're both drug cheats whom haven't really had any decent performances since being caught so they both have genuine question marks over their abilities there.

So yeh... let me turn this around on you... how is Ortiz better than Povetkin? Give me anything remotely quantifiable.
