It was clear as day that Lacy wouldn't ever be the same again after the beating Calzaghe gave him. And it proved to be true. Lacy had zero confidence after the Calzaghe fight. Froch clearly ruined Bute, but are you going to say he wasn't good to begin with because of his results after Froch? Grant after Lewis? Pavlik after Hopkins? Curry after Honeyghan? Foreman after Ali? Frazier after Foreman? The list goes on.

Alot of those are overstated too.

Well not really because the Sheika and Vanderpool fights were pre Calzaghe and he looked absolutely terrible in both so we know he was total garbage pre Calzaghe.

calzaghe beat one, and froch beat that same guy as well as all these other guys. its not close. oh wait i just found out froch is british FROCH IS A BUM.

Hopkins was the number 1 at Lightheavy. Lacy was number 2 at the weight when he fought Calzaghe as was Kessler. So yeah, that's more than 1. Just shut up will you. It's very clear you're deranged.

And a further 1 at 175 (Hopkins)

So daggum was mistaken but only off by 1. Which funnily enough doubles Calzaghe's total at that weight.

Just because they were competitive against Lacy, doesn't mean Lacy looked like garbage. No one claimed that Lacy wasn't going anywhere after those fights. In fact, it was the opposite. He was going to be the next American star according to the Americans but now they want to pretend otherwise because Joe really filled him in. So as that guy just said, hindsight is a wonderful thing.
