LOL, all these sour posters jealous of "white boy" Calzaghe. Dude beat the dog snot out of the "Next Mike Tyson" exposing Lacy for the fraud that he was. Then, moved up in weight to take out two American legends of the ring. People gonna cry while Joey Zags chills out in the boxing HOF, LMAO.

If that's his claim to fame, then that's not saying much. I'd much rather point to the Hopkins win. At least there was a fighter left in B-hop when Joe beat him.

Lacy isn't some win to hang your hat on imo.
We had a poker tournament at my house that night with about 12 or so people I believe. We were all taking bets on the fight and I was THE ONLY one to take Calzaghe, all of the other people were laughing their asses off. Bunch of talk about how this skinny geek from overseas was gonna get bashed up and that Lacy was a monster, a straight KO machine, etc.

Needless to say I made out good on the bets for that fight, they couldn't believe the beating.

The Lacy win was solid victory dominating victory for the Italian Calzaghe, now the Hopkins win was a Great win against a fighter that had dominated the fight game for a long long time. For Taylor to immortalize the Great Italian fighter Calzaghe I have no problem with it !!!
          And that’s that

Is he gonna face sht competition for the next ten years and face Mikey Garcia and Lima when they are washed up?

              That’s Calazaghe’s career.

Sounds like you were hanging out with some casuals buddy lol I just made a nice haul on the Broner v. Vargas fight for the same reason. (Lots of casuals think Broner is a good fighter) Doesn't mean the win was all that great lol just taking advantage of the less informed

                    But does he?

Taylor has already beaten one Top 5 guy.

Calzaghe only beat 3 in his career so he's not far off
