It was clear as day that Lacy wouldn't ever be the same again after the beating Calzaghe gave him. And it proved to be true. Lacy had zero confidence after the Calzaghe fight. Froch clearly ruined Bute, but are you going to say he wasn't good to begin with because of his results after Froch? Grant after Lewis? Pavlik after Hopkins? Curry after Honeyghan? Foreman after Ali? Frazier after Foreman? The list goes on.

froch beat kessler(calzaghes best win ranked #2), groves twice(current #1 at 168) bute(#1 ranked behind ward), pascal(went on to be #1 at 175), abraham(went on to be #1 at 168), dirrell(top 5)
