Only time will tell. We shall see. Their fighting skills are so different. Calzaghe wasn’t quite so reckless, or easy to hit, when I say reckless I mean overly aggressive. Also Calzaghe had a much different defense, that allowed him to fight to his gifts. Taylor looks to be the goods so far, but if he continues with the over aggressiveness he will take a lot more punishment than Joe ever did, which will curtail his career

Can't hate a playa for taking his chances. If you lose, you might be forgotten in the eyes of Boxingscene crowd and casuals(same thing pretty much) but props for taking the high risk high reward path.

            And that’s that
lacy wasn't even as good as berto and calzaghe lost to hopkins. hopkins landed almost all the clean punches. missing a lot was rewarded cause he tried hard. also hopkins had jus lost to taylor twice in two fights that truly were debatable. why isnt taylor an all time great for beating a legend? oh wait calzaghe has such a great reign to go along with his hopkins wins....

Yeah and Lacy was barely even a C level fighter.

As soon as I saw Calzaghe's name I knew the Americans would spew their poison.

You're as predictable as they come.

Give praise to American fighters who have done absolutely nothing, but **** on a legit great fighter. You're are disgraceful clowns.

i agree berto was never top level. neither was lacy. just tell me his top wins...he beat one top 10 guy. berto beat at least 2-3 so yeah...

and how do you outclass a guy who lands the cleaner punches for almost the entire fight? makes no sense. hopkins was making calzaghe miss nearly everything(defense) and landing clean punches before and between his wild flurries. it was horrible scoring. he was whiffing at air thats not outclassing. there was an entire documentary showing this. it was hilarious and a bit pathetic. you thought calzaghr was landing but he wasnt. in reality it was hopkins landing short clean punches inside of calzaghes whiffs. oh well better luck next viewing.
