I love this crazy guy. You're missing all the facts but who cares, you stick with it.

g said he agreed to this, knowing that he would either fight Derevyanchenko by August 3rd or vacate his belt. He chose to vacate to fight a retired guy from a lower division. The IBF gave him the option, and g said he would fight Derevyanchenko within the allotted time. Then he decided he didn't want to and so he vacated. If g would have just vacated from the beginning instead of lying and saying he was going to fight his mandatory, this fight would already be scheduled.

If anyone is mad about how long it has taken, then g is the only party to blame.
It is his fault. He is the one who vacated to avoid the dreaded Russian taxi cab driver.

Vanes did in fact do a bigger PPV than Canelo in 2018 but you can always blame steroids.

That is just a simple fact. g asked for an exemption to fight Vanes instead of his mandatory. G was told he could fight Vanes, but he had to fight Derevyanchenko by Aug. 3rd. g chose to vacate and fight Vanes. It has absolutely nothing to do with Canelo. He was ordered to fight Derevyanchenko, but g vacated.

Literally. g vacated to avoid a bum with 12 pro fights. This would be like Spence vacating instead of fighting Ocampo.

g and his lil butt-lickers are the only ones crying. I know it is so unfair to expect a champ to be fight a guy who had once thought about fighting a top 30 opponent. Yes, of course g did the right thing. He let two fighters that have testicles fight for the belt.

g has a resume full of Rubio, geale, Monroe, wade, Brook, and Tureano and to top it off, he vacates to avoid someone with a dozen pro fights. And is crying about it.
          25 million dollars.....nuff said.

It's not complicated, unknown Derev with no build up for 1 or skip him for 25 million. Mathematics.

I thought the same. Someone said sanctioning bodies only want the best to fight the best but we all know that's BS.

It's a no-win situation for Jacobs; if he wins, he was supposed to win. If he loses, he lost to unknown dude with like 13 fights. If he does decide to take the fight, big respect to him.
Very honest take on the matter. I would rather see Jacobs fight BJS and Derev fight Charlo or Demetrius. Obviously that's never going to happen because of promo/manager and networks. Instead, we may see two of the best hurt one another and Charlo pick up the pieces.

Jacob's looking for a real fight like Arias rematch or Sulsucky rematch. The guy is a joke of LHW with his slapping punches fighting at middle weight. For sure he won't take a fight if the IBF mandates a 2nd day weigh in.

Exactly. The guy keeps saying he was stripped for fighting Vanes. He wasn't. He was stripped for making it clear that he was trying to make another fight instead of the mandatory fight.
