    Ring posts?

Fact ... Hearn already had a meeting scheduled with Finkel.

Fact ... Finkel cancelled his meeting with Hearn and refused to reschedule.

The $50million was bogus, it was like Shannon Brigg's purse for the Vitali fight - it didn't exist.

      Weak excuse.

Another moron questioning whether BILLIONAIRE Al Haymon would invest 50m in a fight🙈🙈🙈

This is exactly why you’re on my ignore list...
Its not an excuse ,if you werent a little kid who just started following boxing a few years ago you would know how fighters conduct terms .

The fact other than you getting completely owned on this thread as always is your a point blank idiot who should put himself on ignore as a matter of fact you should delete your account and start over to escape the village idiot status youve accumulated slowly on here , lol !

This is how things are always done. For 200 million Mayweather purses and for 4 round fighters making a few thousand.
If you really want the fight, it isn't an unreasonable request. Floyd was the A side so his team wrote the contract. As Eddie has said in the interviews, he wanted to see the promotional obligations and broadcasters involved. How much energy and money is it really to get your fighter multiples of his biggest ever purse and chance at being the undisputed heavyweight champ of the world? Ridiculous excuse making.

Arum and Haymon refused to sit down until they agreed in principle on a 60/40 split. They didn't meet to discuss smaller details until they had an understanding on the biggest detail. This is how boxing has worked forever.

Go where for fun? He was in town for HBO commitments regardless? He wanted a meeting while he was already going to be here. He wasn't coming here for the meeting.

Finkel just wanted confirmation that AJ intended to keep his word about 50 million, pending other details being satisfactory. When Hearn wouldn't confirm that Aj would accept 50 million, even if the smaller details were kosher, there was nothing to meet about.

And all of Hearn's behavior since has shown he wasn't negotiating in good faith and never wanted the fight next. So Finkel was right for thinking the meeting was a publicity stunt and not a legitimate attempt to make the fight.

Even Hearn now admits the 50 million was real.

Showtime has publicly confirmed it was real.

Where are you getting your info from?

No.. they wanted Hearn to PUBLICLY accept.

Clear strategy to deflect blame on them as they were getting heat for rejecting the initial offer and people were starting to see Wilder's camp for what they were

False. They wanted private confirmation that AJ was agreeing in principle to the concept of the 50 million offer, pending the other details being negotiated to mutual satisfaction.

Otherwise you can sit down, negotiate other details to mutual satisfaction, only for Hearn to say at the end, "okay, everything looks great, but AJ actually needs 60 million."

Why you spend time defending the decline of a contract request is beyond me.
