They didn't want that smoke! They put as many obstacles in the way as possible!

Joshua isn't the A side like other past champions. He's the A side in the UK. That isn't Canelo or Floyd A side.

I haven't seen a promoter this afraid since Done King when he made certain not to have Tyson fight a prime Lennox Lewis. Step aside money hasn't been offered but AJ got Evey concession, and still chose Povetkin. Wow. Now he may lose and this Wilder fight will mean nothing

Doug Fisher of Ring had a very good post regarding his thoughts on who is to "blame" for the fight falling through. I like both Wilder and AJ, I don't think either fighter is a coward or ducking. My thought is that Hearn wanted no parts of this fight now and for good reason. AJ gets paid and puts asses in seats for all of his fights, they all make money. AJ is still developing and has potential to get better. Wilder is a dangerous fighter and most brutal puncher in boxing today, Wilder has pretty much reached his apex. But letting the fight "marinate" until 2019, Hearn continues to make money and gives his fighter more time to develop and more time for the fight to develop hype.

i can jive with that...on a certain level....

my problem is when people cant see all situation objectively....so many people crapped all over canelo when his people put off the golovkin fight for a good year or so......all of the sudden it wasnt ok

he still gave him the fight and did better than at least I expected....and he still gets crapped on to this day

if people had treated canelo(and im not even a canelo fan to be honest) with the same reverance they are trying to treat AJ with...i wouldnt really have an issue

if we get the fight in april of 2019 im actually good with that.....but the UK queens need to back off and admit what it is and stop trying to point a finger at wilder when realistically everyone knows its hearn

Hearn is a carnival barking used car clown show snake oil salesman. His DAZN is already going to sink due to lack of boxers joining and his side kick Robin doesn’t want Wilder. Isn’t it funny how we don’t hear from the man himself? That’s typically what happens in a relationship, the butch speaks for both

In what world is this a 100 mil fight? I could MAYBE see Joshua being a 50 mil fighter against Fury but even that might be pushing it.

Hearn himself (lol god I hate saying that) projected Joshua could make in the mid or upper 30s if I recall. Not that much more than Parker. Lets be honest with ourselves...

Wilder isnt doing that much for Joshua. Thats the plain truth. It’s his second biggest fight next to Fury.

Look how it all turned out.

Aj and his team walked away, no sweat off their back, secured a significantly better fighter than Wilder did and is going to go make 15-20mil or more.

Wilder complained, secures a s hit fight with left overs and goes back to Alabama to languish and do nothing more to further himself.

Hearn and company are not in a hurry to fight Wilder right now because its just not that much more lucrative than other fights. As a big Wilder fan it pains for me to say that but its the cold hard truth.

You dont have to like it or accept it. You can dream about this imaginary 100 million dollar fight where Deontay gets to call the shots and bring Joshua over to the states. You do that. But in the real world, Hearn and Joshua laugh at him and tell him to f uck off and go fight someone else and leave him out in the rain.

Teams are usually given a list of refs and judges they agree would be ok to officiate fight they shrink list down and the commission picks out of ppl left.... I’m taking what wilder said as team Joshua would of been only ones dwindling list down for commission to pick from

... now: just imagine that the team Wilder would have been the only one dwindling the list down for the Las Vegas commission to pick from... (I don't need an answer)...

                    Wilder?

The one that doesn’t get paid well?

Wilder please dont do this man. I like ya too much. Snap out of it. “What is you doin’, baby!?”

Joshua makes makes more in one fight than you’ve made in your career, dude. I think you need to look at YOUR team. The management of Wilder’s career is so bad the other guys team is just out in the open trying to sign him.

We are literally witnessing one of the absolute dumbest moves we’ve ever seen in boxing.

Who’s in his ear feeding him this?

Joshua gonna go out and make like another 20-30 mil next fight and Wilder is fighting a left over for lord knows how many peanuts (in comparison) but the guy is actually making it seem like he’s the one making moves?

                    What. The. F uck.

Remember that crazy ass rant by Charles Martin where it looked like he was locked in a room with drugs?

                    This is Wilder’s version.

                    This is baffling.

I’m not saying a flat fee is right....but what I’m saying is you literally have no ground to stand on its a flat fee or NOTHING. This isn’t Manny Pacquiao declining a flat fee. This is Wilder...

Stop feeding that trash about how its not about the money and come up with 50-50.

Rematch? No one wants to see this fight again if Joshua wins! We all just hope Wilder does and we get two fights out of it. Think people wanna see Canelo vs Liam Smith rematch? NO.

                    Whyyyy.

:/.... I had so much hope for Wilder.
Calling Wilder a distant B-side is a mistake. He made at least $2.1m for the Ortiz fight, and that was only the guarantee.

Wilder is basically at the ceiling of what he can get from Showtime. Were CBS not an option, Wilder likely has one more fight on Showtime before move to PPV
