No, it was being sent back unsigned. How can you sign a contract that you disagree with and want changes done to it?Comment

Exactly what I thought, fight Charr and became the regular champion to force the fight. But, now I don't really know. Joshua is being "forced" to fight the mandatory, not the regular champion. Shouldn't the regular take the mandos and the super get the regular? Fishy, how much strings does Hearn have with them? It seems like they can "freeze" the regular champion foreverComment

If someone doesnt sign a contract whos the B side bc hes not getting a rematch that means he knows he could lose and is far from confident , you imbecile !Comment

I dunno , I haven't followed every twist and turn , I'm neutral supporter and I like Wilder better but I feel like maybe he's the one that's refused this and now just throwing feces on social media at distraction tactic. Basically he's fuming at himself *****ing out?
I think Joshua should have fought in USA as it makes more money and it will become a huge fight there and has good potential to go mainstream like old times which will bring the sport back big to USA which is only good for world boxing inc UK.
I think Joshua should have taken that leap. Dared to be truly great in that way rather than relying on his home town familiar vibes
So really all we know is they both want the fight but won't travel ...Comment

Finkle sent the contract back unsigned. He wanted changes done to it so Hearn was going to have to draw up another contract and send it back again. But you know what would have happened if the WBA wasn't enforcing their mandatory and they were still negotiating? Finkle would have sent it back saying he wanted more changes.
Hearn warned Finkle that he had the WBA breathing down his neck so time was of the essence. Didn't stop them from being slow and waiting 4 weeks before accepting the offer.
I knew Finlke was going to run out the clock and force Joshua to fight his mandatory. Very predictable.Comment
