That's unclear to me. It was stated before that it would be signed by Friday. Perhaps they expected to have everything settled by then..? I think more will come out later.

I know why everybody is disappointed is because we've followed this saga from the beginning and just when it was within our grasp they snatched it away! But I still think the fight happens next year and next year they'll tease us with Spence Crawford all year so we can get to see that in 2020.

Are you behind the negotiation tables of either camp? Or are you just going by media headlines and interviews? Because both camps can say one thing to the public, and the complete opposite behind closed doors. Fans need to be more objective and less emotional...

Indeed. But they also need to be less naive. Its not hard to tell from the outside looking in that one guy very very clearly and vocally wants this fight. The other side has been sketchy to say the least. We dont have to be in the negotiating room to see through all the contradictions and excuses. Sometimes its just clear as day that a team is protecting their fighter from another fighter

His bluff got called and they were forced to negotiate the fight
Barry Hearn said he didn't want the fight now

I almost feel bad for Joshua as he will be viewed as a coward when Hearn is the one that didn't want the fight, but he messed things up to start with so I can just laugh. Hearn got what he wanted in not having the Wilder fight now, but failed miserably on saving face. At least now Wilder has more support

At least Spence-Crawford has a good building way. Spence is probably fighting the Garcia-Porter winner to unify. I'm certain Crawford will fight next the Pacquiao-Mathysse winner to take WBA belt from Thurman, be it by fighting or by striping. In the end will be just the two of them with power to build and make so much money they can't refuse
