I've already told you it was to hurry things up. Once the contracts are signed the date and venue would have been sorted in no more than 2 weeks. It would have delayed things if Hearn had sorted that out before signing. Use your head please.

They already have date for the Povetkin fight.

You do not hurry up and sign contracts, when have you ever heard people doing that?

With the way things are going, do you really believe Hearn had any confidence in Wilder signing? Pissing about getting a date and venue sorted would have probably felt like a waste of time. I knew Wilder wasn't going to sign. And guess what, I was right.

Most fans in Britain don't really know much about Povetkin so Hearn got him a fight to show him off. Being a gold medallist doesn't even come into it. I mean, do you know every gold medallist in every sport?
Did they know a lot about Molina, Breazeale and Takam ? Last i checked all those events sold out, or are we crediting the Takam fight selling out because they all knew who Pulev was ? Lmfao you’re pathetic. Don’t multi quote me again I have zero intention to return the compliment either.

You have a point. They did help me get through the day though. You would think that they question why Hearn never comes out and denies the stuff that Finkel says. I've come to the realization that every public statement he makes is for those fans. They are the ones that will come to Cardiff and support Joshua fighting mismatches. He has to keep them happy until Wilder Joshua becomes a $200M+ fight. I really don't think he's banking on a rematch being a bigger fight.

Since we are sticking with the facts as you say. YES. Given the fact that he was quoted as saying that he believed the fight would be signed on multiple occasions. Notably within the last two weeks he said “But I believe this fight will 100 per cent be signed in the next three or four weeks.”

these were the same fans who were okay with hearn and aj taking damn near a month to deny 50mill, they said aj shouldnt entertain the 50mil if a date or venue wasnt present. "aj shouldnt sell his soul for 50mil". Then remember they kept bringing up hearns 4 questions he needed clarification on before accepting it? "when will team wilder answer those questions?" but wilder should get a contract 4 days late and see a few things they have questions about and sign it asap.

                  • Make the fight happen!
Why wait for the uncooperative B side when life is so much easier on making the Povetkin fight?

So what the contract arrived a few days late. It happens. It's not like he did a Wilder and waited 4 weeks. Now that was a problem.

Do you think Hearn is stuck to his computer waiting for a E-mail that may not even come? Hearn has other business to attend to with other fighters on his roster.
