I thought the solution, as was the case with Golovkin and Jacobs, was to have the regular champion and the super champion fight. Now as we know, with these organizations, money talks, so maybe Ryabinsky has a hand in all of this.

You can give Hearn a pass if you want, but this is obviously his doing.
A promoter is always going to try and give him self as many options, and if there's corrupt sanctioning bodies that will bend to your will, you're doing your job by taking advantage. We can't expect promoters to act with the same moral compass as sanctioning bodies.

So, whether it's obvious or not, WE DON'T KNOW. And the fact is, it doesn't matter.

The WBA has the power to call the shots, not Hearn. They can say "meh" and wait out the Wilder-Joshua negotiations, or they can "force their mandatory." They took the route that is counter-productive for the Heavyweight division and for the sport.

So, now you have a SANCTIONING BODY that is openly SABOTAGING the sport. Not just with their actions with Joshua-Wilder, but their multiple belts and blatant corruption.

This will not stop until fight fans refuse to acknowledge the WBA title. When a fighter raises that title, he should be BOOED. When a promoter says "world title" when referring to a WBA belt, they should be BOOED. When these hack writers write an article about the "WBA" or a WBA-sanctioned fight, they must discredit the WBA in some capacity each time.

If you haven't realized, we (fight fans) decide what these sanctioning bodies and promoters can get away with.

Yeah but case In point could be mares and Santa Cruz.. that was ordered to merge the two into one and then when they couldnt negotiate they just let them carry on anyway so mares fought Gutierrez. Then out of nowhere gervinta Davis was allowed to fight the guy mares beat for the regular belt for the vacant super belt.

It's all just a mess..to the point actually where I'm past blaming either side and it's just a case of ****the lot of em I'm not invested in it now until that ****in poster gets posted on Instagram with the fight signed . It's turning this forum to ****

This was one of the cruelest hoaxes ever played on the boxing public. Matchroom boxing never seriously wanted a fight with Deontay Wilder. They just said they did in order to save face. I don't blame Anthony Joshua. He has handlers that has his best interests at heart. But the Hearn's are absolutely slime buckets. They are the worst piece of human vermin known to man. They are the biggest liars in boxing. They never had any intentions of fighting Deontay Wilder anytime soon. They wanted to push that fight back for as long as possible maybe until Deontay turns 50.

You're blaming Hearn for this as well? You're a freak, do you know that? The bias is so extreme you eradicate all reality and look to defend that coward Wilder at all costs. Then you have the nerve to call AJ fans the worst in the sport.

You, Wilder and his fans are grotesque. The moment you're out of the sport the better.

I told you this is what Wilder was looking to force. He took 4 weeks to accept the offer in the hope that AJ would be forced to fight Povetkin as a mandatory. It didn't work. So they made sure this time to run out the clock so Wilder can get back to doing what he does best.... Fighting bums.

Wilder, you are a disgrace. And so are your lunatic fans. Weirdo's.

No deal will be signed. Wilder doesn't want the fight. He never did. He's happy to front and pretend he's the best without having to face Joshua. They had all the time in the world to accept the offer and sign the contract, but instead ran the clock down knowing Joshua had to fight a mandatory.

Looks like Hearn put in a call because I've never seen sanctioning organization give a 24hr deadline for signature. Actually it seems like the Povetkin negotiations were taken more seriously by Hearn than the Wilder fight.

Hopefully they broadcast the AJ fight in the States and he gets another 250K viewers and Deontay goes on to fight the real king of England Tyson Fury
The WBA gave Hearn an extra month to try and work things out with Wilder. They can't sit around any longer waiting for Wilder to sign.

Wilder knew Joshua had the mandatory over him so ran down the clock to force this. Wilder is a b*tch. He never wanted the fight in the first place.

Povetkin didn't fail a doping test against Wilder.

A bit like most Americans then. Which means you're the biggest cowards on the planet. I already knew this, but with you agreeing with me, it's a start. Good boy.
