The state of the WBA championship scene has been a mess for years now. It changes dependant on the scope of the division in question and I don't agree with the fluctuations between champions at all. All I'm doing is stating their rules.. however jaded they may be and we all know they have margins to change as they see fit

When was the last time a WBA Super champ was ordered to fight a mandatory? It's a serious question. I don't know.

They ordered santa Cruz to fight mares to unify regular and super and installed mares as mandatory but talks broke down and santa Cruz fought avalos..

They definitely ordered super champs to fulfill what they deem "mandatory" contender shots but my understanding was always that the super belt was designed to allow those champions longer to fulfill mandatories from all orgs. I honestly can't see why the WBA are getting pissy on this one.. they should just let the fight negotiations continue

Finkel just said Hearn sent a letter to them today stating they won't fight them next but next year on April 13 at Wembley's. Finkel brought up a good point. How could Hearn lock down a date for NEXT YEAR but in the contract he sent to him last week not have the date nor the venue? Like I said, he always wanted it in 2019 and he got his wish.

If I'm team Wilder, knowing Hearn has played his hand, next negotiations I'm asking for a split and not just a flat fee. At that point the general public will DESTROY Joshua if he doesn't fight Wilder next. So he could go from earning 15 million to 25 million. I bet that is exactly what happens. I've been on top of everything from the start of this negotiations and you could save this post for when negotiations take place for next year. Expect Hearn to say team Wilder is now going away from what they agreed to last time out and want more money!! This is ridiculous!!! But in reality he will have no choice but to bend to those demands.

Wembleys not available after September !

It wouldn't take brain surgery to look at a calender date of scheduled events in 2019 to come up with a set date to book .

You're also listening to a guy who haulted signing bc he wanted to know what venue they were fighting at yet Cardiff is the only one available if this fight is next . lol

HEARN has sh%t his pants over the WILDER fight so much that he probably paid off the right people to skip the WILDER fight until 2025. Lol.

When did I say the fight would take place at Wembley's in October or November? I believe it was rumored to take place at Cardiff stadium? Or another venue? Either way, he sent a contract without the date or the venue. Are you going to deny that isn't a bit off? I mean you have the date and venue already set for 2019, but don't have it for October or November? Their bluff got called and Hearn was in a rock and hard place. He had to do what he could to stall this fight. No coincidence all of a sudden the WBA mandates a 24 hour deadline out of nowhere once Finkel told them they would get the contracts back by Friday. It just makes WAY too much sense for Hearn to push it back to 2019. Only thing is, it is now going to cost him some money as Wilder will be demanding a lot more than the $15 million he would have gotten this time around.

Ordering the Super Champ to fight the Regular Champ is a lot different than ordering the Super Champ to fight some "guy."

I don't think its been done before, and until somebody can give me another example, I'll continue to say it's Hearn's doing. They have a "regular" HW champ, why isn't Pedvetkin his mandatory?

If that ain't stalling I don't know what is. WBA have had enough and have given AJ too much time already.
Stop changing facts. Shelley Finkel already said that he agreed on everything but 2 minor details then he sent back the contract to Hearn. Go ahead in review it we are ready to sign either way. There's an article on ESPN by Fat Dan you Aj ducks refuse to read and just ignore it. All of a sudden today the very next day after that article came out 24 hour deadline by WBA to fight pedvotkin. We here in the States see right through the bull shyt.
Eddie made a call to the WBA and they came in protecting Eddies cash cow. Keep on spinning delusional fan boy. Facts are facts.

I don't even think the WBA really want to recognise their regular HW champ at this point. The whole regular HW WBA champ thing has been a mess for the best part of 3/4 years. I think they're just hoping at some point to put that on in a lull in the division and have the super champion decimate charr
