why do the floyd fans act like spence/crawford can only fight once against each other?? all this talk about "built up". if the fight turns out the be exciting then this can lead to 2-3 more fights between them!

Nothing to Marinate honestly! AJ vs Wilder is ready now. They also already have all the belts among the two so who else is it to beat in their Division before they step in with each other. Compared to Spence and Crawford, Crawford is just now entering 147 and it is still Thurman as the WBA Champion and the WBC up for grabs for Garcia vs Porter. Spence Jr vs Crawford is not really in Marination it is mostly Bob Arum saying he is not interested unless he knows they can sell 500K PPV.

ggg never wanted it to marinate and was past prime for the fight. tyson was well past sell by date against lewis. crawford and spence are in their prime, they should be ready to go now.

I want to see all good fights as soon as possible. Marinate is a promoter's word for trying to squeeze every penny out of a fight when the fight makes good money right now. I don't worry about it because the people in control will either make the fight or they won't. I hope for the best and expect the worst.

I can name a lot of fights that marinated and both fighters in their prime

so there nothing wrong with allowing a fight to marinate just as long as you don't wait to long

nothing! as a matter of fact! that's what i've been waiting for, an answer as to when it'll be the right time for them to fight.

so far, all the posters who has quoted me just keep on saying "it needs time to built". so respect for actually answering what i've been asking!

now i asked you, why cant they fight now? and then rematch next year, etc. and if this turns out to be good, we might even get a trilogy.

just dont get it lol. how can you and others on here be defending us not getting good fights. its ridiculous. they arent going to be fighting killers in the meantime i can assure you, its gonna be an in house top rank scrub for crawford next and for spence it will be the berto/alexander winner. the porter/garcia winner wont be jumping in with him next despite what people seem to think.

I don't really have thoughts in regards to "marinating" fights. I will say this though: It's hilarious to me that boxing fans still b.tch about it.. it's apart of the business, you'd think we'd all be used to it already
