Why is it ok for Crawford-Spence to marinate but not AJ-Wilder??

to be clear I want to see both these fights right now.

the point of this post is the same posters who call AJ's promotion team cowards for asking to delay and build a Wilder fight are supportive of Spence and Crawford doing exactly that.

    Stay consistent.

I want to see AJ-Wilder now because somebody can beat them and then who gives a damn after that. PEDvetkin can come with his best juice ever and spark AJ out.

Spence-Crawford should happen next because its obvious they're the best at 147. Thurman didn't marinate his fights vs Porter or Garcia when he could've. he faced them back to back.

Spence feasting on IBF mandos and Crawford beating Benavidez is not gonna turn that fight into a PPV mega event. I'll be shocked as hell if it does close to 150K whenever it does take place.

I gotta be consistent. I consider AJ's team cowards for putting up every roadblock to stall a Wilder fight therefore I gotta consider Spence and Crawford stalling a coward move as well.

I still haven't seen anyone stating that they want Spence/Crawford to marinate. The AJ/Wilder thing has been brewing for a while already and the money is clearly there to do it now, so there's obviously more clamour for it. Can't say the same about the 147 fight. Crawford has literally just got to the division.

Because all the other heavyweights suck

      Welter much deeper

Also aj is taking advantage of his fanboys by putting every fight on ppv. Hardcore fans think its unfair that mismatches are on ppv. Theres an element of spence and crawford deserving a ppv fight

Also hearn spews bs and lies about wilder ducking

Both wilder and AJ have made a number of defenses so it’s time. Crawford just won his title and Spence has made 2 defenses.

Crawford and spence should not marinate. Its a great fight to,make now and itll never grow into a,mega money fight. Thats just a poor excuse they using so they can keep fighting Horn, and that guy spence just fought lol. Make, the fookin fights, PPV era is OVER.

Welter much deeper? Then why is Vargas considered the "next best option" for spence? And who is Crawford gonna fight next? The crawford vs spence fight will be great, crawford been one of my two faves for 5 yrs now and spence is great to watch. This will not be a successful ppv even if they wait 8 years. These boxing suits need to,make this while they both primed IMO

At HW it's blatantly clear that AJ and Wilder are the two at the top of the pile with nobody else seriously worth talking about. Their most recent wins came within a short time of one another, it's a fight for the undisputed championship, Wilder has been aggressively pushing for it, everything just screams "THE TIME IS NOW." There's no other fight involving either fighter or indeed any fight in the division at large that comes close to matching it in terms of significance or sheer hype.

By contrast Crawford - Spence wouldn't be a full unification, with neither guy being clear-cut as division leaders - the fact that Thurman is still holding a title and that Garcia is set to fight Porter muddies the water a bit. Additionally Crawford just arrived in the division, so it's reasonable to expect him to take one more fight to truly establish himself as a top fighter at the weight before the two finally clash. Also neither fighter is aggressively pushing it and the media and fans are by and large just murmuring in speculation right now rather than foaming at the mouth in demand for it.

Of course, I'd be very happy if the fight was made now, but the fact that it's not being made right this second doesn't provoke the same feelings of frustration that the failure / refusal to make the AJ-Wilder fight does.

                  Don't think either should marinate.
I feel Wilder/Joshua has marinated enough.
I'd like to See Crawford/Spence asap but I also want Spence to beat Garcia,Thurman,or Porter before they do(2 out of those 3 would be fine) I would be pissed off if Crawford beat Spence, got the belts, and they came out of the wood work to try and fight crawford.

Joshua vs Wilder had the biggest purse in heavyweight history on the line. 50 million. there is nothing left to marinate with that kind of money on the line. not to mention its for undisputed. that makes them the last 2 standing.

crawford vs spence would earn both guys about 2 or 3 million dollars right now. 1 year from now they can at least make double that. and the porter vs garcia and keith thurman are still in the mix.
