I thought unification bouts took precedence over mando's? Hearn definitely made that call to the WBA.

Joshua povetkin is a certainty now unfortunately. And wilder against whatever dummy the wbc let him away with fighting. Probably stiverne 3

Wilder and his team are *****. Took too long to return the contract. Wilder lost his pen and has lost a huge fight as a result.

Of course Wilder fanboys in typical fashion blame Hearn and make out it's some sort of conspiracy theory. Embarrassing.

Matchroom secretary probably wrote the statement. Boksfan, was this you?

They can ask for dispensation which they did. The WBA have them a month after the mandatory was called for purse bids to negotiate with povetkin for step aside which seems to have been done and then negotiate the wilder contract. Because the wilder contract hasnt been finalised the WBA seem to have had enough and said no.. you've had a month.. it's mandatory now because you couldn't get it over the line for the unification.

Let's not forget.. the orgs make it up as they go along and have no problem bending their own rules

WBA granted a month extension to get it sorted out after they called their mandatory. They'll of course be asking Hearn where things are..

Now Hearn could well have asked them to call it ..for whatever reason only he truly knows but the WBA have definitely given enough time for this unification to fall in line with their rules and trump their mandatory.

They can only give so much extension before they want to move forward and it seems it's either them or Hearn for multiple reasons when asked by them how negotiations were goingand asking it to be sorted quickly, him just saying " **** it.. call the mandatory"

They waited until the thing had been agreed to in principle to make this ruling. I'm so mad! I will definitely want for Povetkin to beat Joshua now so they all look like a bunch of fools and to create chaos in general.

This was a stall tactic from Hearn to delay talks till Povetkin's team/WBA got involved.

Both guys should just cancel talks, fight there upcoming fights and restart talks right away.

The WBA only held off ordering AJ/Povetkin for a month because Hearn asked them to.

If he wasn't trying to make AJ/Wilder, why would he have asked the WBA for an extension in the first place?

Povetkin is garbage man. He is approaching 40 years of age and is pretty much past his prime at this point. All he has left is a puncher's chance. Anthony Joshua should stop within four rounds.

After all, AJ is a counter puncher and unlike Takam and Parker; Those fights were duds, Povetkin would force him to fight. Alexander Povetkin is tailor made for Anthony Joshua's style.
