AJ really should be winning given povetkin last outing but he is much tougher than breazeale.

In terms of punch resistance breazeale is pretty granite tbh ..if he outboxed wilder to a points win I think I'd jump in the river at the prospect of a breazeale / AJ rematch
... actually I don't really know what to say... but both Wilder and Joshua have weaknesses... of course, Breazeale and Povetkin aren't some monsters of the sport, they could be "bought out" (especially Breazeale who's with DiBella), but anyway...

Hearn said the Povetkin fights all but a done deal if the Wilder fight falls through so it’s not like they had to start from scratch. Why not wait till Friday

I bet you also believe that Hearn had no influence over when Ortiz recently popped for the Wilder fight he was the WBA Mando and as soon as the news broke the WBA suspended Ortiz before the WBC even investigated and later cleared him. The guy wasn’t even fighting for their sanctioning body next yet they stripped his Mando position quick and replaced him with another multiple time cheater in Povetkin
If Hearn wanted to fight Povetkin next .. why didn't he just go ahead and do that as soon as the WBA ordered it, instead of asking for permission to fight Wilder first?"

Why did Finkel say "We are ready to sign the contract .. it will be signed by Friday" instead of just signing the damned contract?

Are you seriously trying trying to blame Eddie Hearn for the WBA suspending Ortiz after he swerved AJ to fight Wilder then failed a PED test for the 3rd time?

Do you even know that that the WBC also suspended Ortiz immediately after he got popped, which is why his fight with Wilder was cancelled and Wilder fought Stiffern instead?

If they were ready to sign - then why the heck didn't they just do it? Why wait till Friday, ffs?
Exactly. They knew the time was up on the WBA and it’s not like organizations just started doing these things.

From missing meetings to taking a month to respond to now “oh we’ll sign it in x time” sure doesn’t add up especially when Wilder said he’d fight “Joshua in England for free”. It’s just completely baffling as to how that could ALL be Hearns and Joshua’s fault.

Wilder probably wants the fight but unless he signs the contract he doesn’t want it now. Maybe he wanted to appear like he was being ducked by the consensus #1 and draw and gain more gullible fans to increase his purses for his favorite type of fights - bums.

Povetkin is levels above Breazeale. The only fight he has ever lost was against prime Wlad Klitschko.

And Povetkin's best wins have all happened since then.

Sure, he got rocked by Price, and would probably have gone down if not for the ropes. But Price packs a hell of a punch, and Povetkin recovered well .. just like he did after getting floored by Wlad. He didn't look shot to me.

                SMH, What happened?

I thought Wilder agreed to fight in the UK, the contract, etc...

This is getting frustrating with these two teams going back and forth. When it seems like one thing is agreed then something else comes up. SMDH
