Why are you concerned about A certified ATG and how he retired?

People just will find it interesting how floyd closed out his career and will conclude that's how floyd conducted his whole career. He did nothing towards the very end that he didn't do throughout his career.
      That's just how floyd operated

Floyd has indelibly ruined this guy's life. It kills him that Floyd schooled his idol after telling everyone that Floyd would never fight Pac.

Not to mention his legendary post where he specified that Floyd had to beat Mosley, Pac and Cotto to be considered an ATG. Floyd went on to do just that and this fool spluttered and stuttered and eventually deleted that post, even though people had quoted it.

Floyd stayed true to his character to the end. 49 was Berto cause he deserved an "easy fight" and 50 was a guy making his pro debut, cause the bottom line is the bottom line.
Floyd confirmed his legacy as the most financially successful fighter ever, as for TBE, not so much.

Floyd was always better than he showed in the ring, he stopped taking risks in fights once he hit the DLH jackpot. Perfectly and brutally honest, fight fans like drama which rarely happened in the latter stages of his career with the exception of the one round vs Mosley. I mean Floyds last 7 years in the sport are virtually the same highlights, jab jab, hook, pot shot. I'm sure he's plenty satisfied but the other argument from the consumers has it's own validity as well. Go out on his shield? No, beat the dog **** out of overmatched opponents? Absolutely.

Floyd was supposedly the best. So why not fight spencer, brook etc etc?
It's better for his legacy to not have cherry pick fights to end career as that stays in memory..Ok, he cherry picked for the majority of his career in countless critics opinions. But floyd could have made statement in last fight.
Floyd fought and dominated Pacquiao in 2015 who cares if he wanted to fight berto as a retirement fight.

I want you to name examples when Floyd actually cherry picked opponents.

So why have you used it as an example then, idiot?

And for the record David Haye has called himself the best.

                  As should any elite boxer.

That would have been super badass to see Floyd go against Spence or Thurman like 2 years ago for his final fight.

Even if he had lost it wouldn't hurt his legacy at all in my book.

Blame the countless fighters who lost against a Floyd years removed from his prime.
