Money was more important than legacy, so for Floyd, he made the move that coincided with his values. Trouble is, he insisted on labeling himself TBE, and his fan base sang along.

Look at David haye last fight. That's how it should be. Floyd went out on his terms? But that's his problem everything he did in his career was under his terms.
Floyd did it ALL. He is the ONLY boxer in HISTORY that BEAT boxing. Swallow your L like a man, or should I say woman....LOL

But haye never claimed to be the best, or wasn't defending reputation for being the best.
Floyd was supposedly the best. So why not fight spencer, brook etc etc?
It's better for his legacy to not have cherry pick fights to end career as that stays in memory..Ok, he cherry picked for the majority of his career in countless critics opinions. But floyd could have made statement in last fight.

The money came from winning & he was fighting fighters on win streaks. Floyd would of beat the snot out of Dempsey too. Conor can beat Dempsey....LMMFAO!

calm down...not everyone who doesn't s*uck his **** is a Floyd hater. his career trajectory lined up with a lot of very good/great fighters, but he fought nearly none in their primes...is what it is. I'm not blaming Floyd for that, but it's the only thing he lacks compared to some other atg fighters. think about how many critics would be silenced if he had fought and beat pac in 2010.
