Many Brits are saying the exact same thing. If someone were offering you a minimum guarantee of $50 million for a fight and you have proof that the funds exist, then one would have to be a fool to turn that much money down. So what exactly is Matchroom boxing, Barry and Eddie Hearn are thinking?

Wilder has the contract he agreed to. They're happy with the terms and have had their two points of debate clarified and are happy with them.
The 50 millions irrelevant. Don't worry about how much AJ makes or doesn't make it his reasoning why. It won't matter and he won't have anywhere to "run" if wilder signs the contract he has in front of him .
Very simple

The simple end point so far is they have the contract.. with the terms they agreed to. They have the clarity they want on the two points they wanted it on.. so just sign it.
50 million rightly or wrongly turned down no longer enters into the equation. If they have a contract with terms they agreed on sat in front of them.. then the only thing holding everything up is that contract not being signed. What do you want Hearn or AJ tondo at this point to make them sign something they said they're happy with ?
It's exactly the same as saying AJ said this then did the opposite.. now so is wilder.

The IBF ordered AJ to fight Povetkin months ago. If he didn't want to fight Wilder, Povetkim was his escape route .. but he didn't use it.
If they're bluffing, then stop yapping about it and call their bluff .. sign the damned contract!

I think it has a real good chance of happening next but these negotiations really are this difficult because of the size of the egos involved.
