Why is this even a surprise?

I always knew he's not going to hire Schaefer. Yet fighthype kept writing articles about it making it appear Floyd is going to take over and become a super promoter in the sport.

Instead, he spent all his money investing in various ventures that require massive amounts of operating expenses. Not to mention a strip bar. He probably have no cash right now.

Not moving is a sign of immaturity! And then again, he's 23!

I wouldn't be surprised if floyd did buy him spot in Vegas after the first incident Tank had in Bmore. Even at 23 he should be mature enough to realize he has the potential to make millions of he stays focused on boxing and not the streets.

All he needs to do is watch Mike Tyson documentaries! I struggle with my own children all the time! I tell them "I've traveled down that path already! I know where the potholes and dead ends are! I've told y'all what the better path is! Your choice is to either to trust me, or travel the same road, but don't ask me to finance the ****ing trip!"

You can call him salty, a bum or old. you can call him all three. but it's very hard to argue against his argument that Floyd is a shxt promoter. Two years on the shelf.. might as well retire.

Floyd is trying to make a go at it as a promoter. Maybe this goes like his career- starts slow, grows slow, then eventually he gets the big fight and uses that to jump start his rise to the top.

He definitely needs to bring in a Schaefer type that knows more about the business end.
