yes he used to be better but now hes not therefore cheating is acceptable? i don't give old man passes to fighters. the rules dont apply only to people under 37. yes he was able to extend his career by fighting past it fighters and manipulating the rules but why is that a good thing?

What top welterweights on Spence's level did Maidana knock out? I must have missed that.

Maidana is an exciting fighter but he got slightly overrated from the broner and first mayweather fights. Anyone A level beats broner, first floyd fight, floyd fought Maidana's fight and wouldnt budge so gave up a lot of rounds, second fight he used movement and won easily.

If you watch Maidana beat Broners ass, its hard to imagine how the hell Khan lasted 12 round with him. I do remember at one point khan being wobbled on shaky legs in the fight but khan is the one that dropped maidana.

Maidana is so overrated in retrospect. The dude went life and death with Sotokarass. Alexander clowned him. Broner was even making his way back in their fight.
Maidana was fun to watch but Spence would crush him.

I don't know you but you seem like a very funny dude. If Khan could drop the very wild, crude and unskilled style of Maidana with a body shot, then just imagine what an Errol Spence, Jr. Would do to him.

Those body shots would have done Maidana, but I'd like to see it still!

Spence would stop Maidana in 5.

Guys like Maidana are made for guys like Spence. I was a fan of Maidana, but he got overrated after he retired.

When was his prime? When Khan beat him? When alexander beat him? Or when Floyd beat him?

big fan of chinos mostly for the broner fight which was maybe the funniest night in boxing ever everytime i think of it i burst out laughing

i always thought maidana should have stuck around after floyd and pac semi retired at his best he would have been a tough fight for any of the top WW's thurman garcia porter and spence ect he could have held a title for a few years and gave us some fun fights even if he lost to them but he got rich and fat can't blame him
