I agree he is probably more able to adjust than GGG, who has a fixed style. Having said that, his fixed style is a real pain in the ass to deal with regardless of how you prepare, you gotta just be ready to go to war, cos that's just how GGG comes and keeps coming. I think GGG will clearly win this one, because statistically he's hard to beat, and statistically he's ridiculously hard to beat twice. However, that does assume you agree he lost the first one, some might disagree, I'd say a draw was tough but fair, not a huge controversy but probably more panels would have given it to GGG.

there was nothing in that fight, and I think it is obvious that Canelo is on the up, and Golovkin is not..... if he is 5% better, therefore making Golovkin 5% worse..... Canelo wins easy

I will say this about him, he's a hard worker.. We exchanged Green Ks when Canelo got suspended. Me for not piling on to Canelo and him for admitting Canelo was irresponsible.

Anyone know the final numbers (for a fact)? A year layoff and crazy rounds of VADA testing for Canelo...if Golovkin doesn't win this one outright, it won't look good for him. I'm guessing Golovkin will open as the early betting favorite because of the year of ring rust? Guess we've got an end of summer fight to look forward to now.

Canelo always takes an 8 month break between May and Sept. (and we all know why) Another 4 months will do him no harm at all and will probably worked in his favour because it gave him time to get his PED cycle in before joining VADA year round.

Canelo was NOT juicing last time..... otherwise, he would have been caught by VADA, just like this time..... so, flawed logic = fail

this is much more relevant.....

1) the better fighter will make the better adjustments..... and as we all saw in the first fight, the better more well-rounded fighter..... is Canelo

2) Canelo will be better/stronger at the weight

3) Canelo will be much more confident, having had a real good look at Golovkin for 12 rounds..... and he will have a more-tailored gameplan, because he has a better team

4) boxing is a young man's game

if you bet on Golovkin you are nuts..... and I highly doubt that he will be the favorite with the bookies, although nothing would surprise me..... the bookies got it wrong last time

Abel Sanchez insisted on testing starting earlier for the May fight than it did in 2017, that's why Canelo got caught out. But yeah .. cazzies like you wouldn't know anything about that.
