Beterbiev was among my favs before all this bs started & he became so inactive, but holy f#ck man lets get this moving one way or another. Guy is 33 & been on the cusp of big things for like 3 year or some such sh^t now, but his sh^t has been stalled up due to various bs.Comment

I'd think they'd just throw Beterbiev into the deepest fire they can throw him in from here out. This situation has likely done no one any good money-wise so everyone needs to make something happen.
Or thats what I'd think anyway.Comment

If so, I hope he fares better than Walters.Comment

I'd disagree, tbh. Folks can argue the degrees of separation, but Daniel Jacobs signed with Eddie Hearn because HBO put up what they did as the guarantee and the move helps make money fights more makable. Carl Frampton signed with Frank Warren because of the fallout with the McGuigans plus Warren's promise to get him a stadium fight in Belfast. (Lee Selby was looking for big fights in the UK, but seeing Warren in Warrington's corner, openly cheering him on in that foul-filled performance, should've made things clear).ive been saying this for a while now a lot of fighters have called 2018 STRAP SEASON!!!! its for a reason. If you pay attention to the number of pbc or haymon affiliated fighters who are moving into positions to unify the titles. Even if it means going to a different promoter or fighting on another network. A lot of the fighters who are signing away from haymon are signing for guaranteed chances at titles.
Jamel Herring signing with Top Rank was likely a move to get back on a title track, after coming up short twice with Haymon (similar to Vanes, tbh).
The amount of actual exodus has been overblown hereComment

Wanna bet?
Talking to HBO about unifying with Bivol is different from signing a deal with HBO.
If no announcement by Monday, what?Comment
