Ray, try to be reasonable. If the fight is worth 100 million, and Wilder's side is so convinced it's worth 100 million that they guaranteed AJ 50 million, don't you think 12.5 million to Wilder is a terrible offer? Parker got 33% vs. AJ. Wilder is far more well known than Parker, has the most valuable belt and brings the most valuable market to the table.

Yet Wilder should have accepted an 88.5/12.5 split?

Floyd gave Pacquiao 40% even though Floyd was making way more than Pacquiao at the time.

Besides, AJ is the A side, and wants it in UK. For anyone who has eyes, this is easy to see what is happening. Wilder don't want it.
Wilder will gladly go to the UK for 40% if AJ isn't willing to keep his word about going to the US for 50 million.

AJ on the other hand hasnt fought outside of the UK........ ever

          2. please post some links of wilder going around the showtime offices and asking people for money for the AJ fight... now you are just talking out of your ass

          HS dropout?

          where did that come from?

and yea wilder said hell fight whyte in the uk if hearn can guarantee AJ next... dont leave things out cuz it benefits you.

and leave the name calling nonsense alone or just get put on the ignore block like everyone else that does it.
Yeah he did it because he lost a purse bid. Don't act like he wanted to go to Russia Absolutely pathetic fanboyism at its finest .

Yeah and Hearn said he'd include a Joshua fight for the winner! Where was deontay? nowhere.

Why are you not making threads comparing that? Why are you not going around asking Deontay why he didn't come and fight in the UK for more than double his highest ever payday and a guaranteed shot at Joshua if he could beat Whyte?

          Because you're a fanboy! haha.

You don't want to be here? You can leave. bye bye

The offer was for a UK fight, there's no 100million in the UK.

            Stop lying.

            • These people are the same posters claiming Ortiz is better than Klitschko and no one else dares to step in the ring with the great Ortiz

Dibella, Haymon, Finkel put their money where their mouth was and made Hearn look like a rookie and so far all we’ve heard from Hearn is fantasy and obsession to take over America. Guy couldn’t even secure an easy title eliminator for Whyte, how ironic that Pulev team had the same problems with Hearn.
Wilder only option is to fight the A-side in the uk and when the A-side knocks wilder clean out are you still going to call him a coward ? Btw. Spilka, washington, duhaupas are such brave choices for wilder to fight yes lol....twat lol

But why should Wilder go to the UK for 12% of what the fight is worth? And why should the fight be in the UK if it's worth so much less there?

The $100m value is made up in the media, not anywhere else.

And mind you this offer was before Wilder came up with $50m for AJ.

I agree. In my mind it should be where the fighters get paid most. AJ will lower his purse to get it in the UK. That’s up to himself, but he’ll need to match whatever Wilder could make if the fight was in the U.S in order for it to be fair.

Wilder has pretty much faked his way to this fight, except for his last fight.

All the power to him. But the way these fools are talking you’d think it was AJ who’d been fighting bums his whole life
