Looking at the Ring ratings Parker is #4 , Whyte is #6 so in theory Whyte has taken a harder fight could Parker have got an Ortiz fight .. maybe .. but you can't really argue a duck.

I wanted Whyte / Ortiz and would have liked Pulev \ Parker but the WBC spiked the first.
Don't ever underestimate this guy's ability to make himself look like an absolute tool

He gets a ranking with the WBO, and what gonna fight AJ this will only happen if Povetkin gets injured and need a last minute replacement.

What next a rematch with Derek Chisora then fight Joe Joyce.

2019 he Might get a title shot, if he loses 2022
Whyte don't need an eliminator, he just needs to prove hes better now than he was when he lost to Joshua.

Gillian Shyte gets stopped or loses decision, Parker didn't take quite as many chances vs Joshua as he might but he also boxed well and Joshua was wary about keeping him at range and had a helpful ref.
        He's a top contender

Gillian Shyte is a decent heavyweight and improving a bit but Parker has enough speed and snap to scramble his senses.
Unless Parker gets real gun shy he is the better heavyweight.

I know your a Whyte fan and will ride for anything associated with the Union Jack

But don’t lie to yourself in thinking Ortiz was ever a option even though Wilder said he’d give him a shot if Whyte beat Ortiz

              Hearn didn’t want that work

Not hating on the fight at all it’s a good fight and Whyte is proving he’s willing to throw down with anyone

              I’ll watch

Wonder what's next for Jennings and Ortiz. Doubt they will fight each other cos Arum will not allow that.

Arum should be making Jennings vs Ruiz Jr, Ortiz the winner of Martin and Kownacki
