The stakes would be infinitely higher for either of the three fighters you mentioned, therefore your point is totally ridiculous and incomparable to the measly 300k Whyte would get to fight in Bulgaria on someone else's show.
    The money was there.

Well according to the people who did business with them, it wasn't.

And I trust them over you, sorry mate :-*

Well it's your call to trust one who is a part and has a certain interest. I don't know the correct term in English, but you know Danish right? Hearn is 'inhabil'.

Yes. If he believes it is the best financial deal he can get. It does however seem that he and his promoter feels that they can do a better deal structured more in his favour.

However, this decision, is one which some outside observer and Joshua's team has different views on.

You could take the same position that Wilder should not have turned down Hearn's offer for more than he ever has fought for. In this case, Wilder's team thinks that they can get a better offer.

In each instance, the various fighter's teams think that they can get a better financial outcome, either short or long-term. No problems with that.

In this specific case though, Whyte will earn $1m+ instead of $300K with no guarantee that taking the smaller amount will lead to a bigger payday. Of course he should take the greater amount!

No, because it is not the best financial outcome for Joshua. You don't sign away your future if you don't know the details. Especially not if you have earn't more than that in the past year and you are going to earn substantially more than that in the coming year while having complete control of your career and your options.

Does anyone in his right mind sign away control of their future for less than twice their annual income?????
