I don’t know as Whyte has got some pretty good momentum going & is better than I thought he would ever be. Parker is good too so I’m on the fence. Parker has wins over Takam, Hughie & Ruiz while Whyte has wins over Chisora, Helenius & Browne. Both were in close fights that could of gone either way & both lost to Joshua. This is as 50/50 as it gets. I can’t pick a winner but my gut tells me Whyte having home field advantage & coming off good wins might be able to pull this one out.Comment

Pulev being higher ranked was to take home a larger percentage. From what I understand it was a 75/25 split. This Parker fight will be PPV in London & there is no IBF sanctioned purse split on this fight. So Hearn & Whyte stand to make a lot more money especially against Parker who has 2 title fights in England the last 12 months. Am I missing something? I’m pretty sure the job of a promoter is to make as much money as possible for himself & his fighter...Comment

Fanatics. Radicalised.
Any fan of Wilder will say ‘Ortiz will embarrass him, unless he’s aged more’ (true comment I saw yesterday)
Any fan of Joshua will say ‘Whyte will smash him and show him to be the 50 year old bum he is unless he’s back on peds” (true comment I saw yesterday)
Truth is it’s not hard to spot fanatics a mile off. Some people follow boxing and some people follow fighters or countries and spend hours arguing the toss on the internet with opinions dressed up as ‘facts’ - ‘he was offered X so he should take Y because he’s Z. Truth is nobody knows except the teams.
From a purely psychological standpoint you are aware the constant bollocks they post serves just to convince themselves. I don’t know how you lot do it day in day out.
For clarification I think Wilder v Joshua is a 50/50 fight in terms of who wins. Anyone who considers wilders record anything other than padded falls into the ‘fanatic’ category I’m afraid. Joshua is also largely untested, he fought a decent klitschko but a ****ing 41 year old already beaten klitschko, a raw Whyte and bored everybody to death with an excellent technical performance but boring no less against Parker. Although Joshua has made steps towards his legacy.
Whyte v Parker:
Parker most likely wins on points.
Whyte v Ortiz
Who knows? Another 50/50 for me. It’s funny to see the myth around Ortiz all of a sudden forgetting the guy struggled to stop David Allen and bored Monaco to tears with a sub par performance against Malick Scott. The guy has won nothing of note at the age of 45-50 (some **** was even trying to say rigobdeaux was old enough to be Ortiz dad the other day to support an argument - it’s ****ing madness.

I'm not sure if you're uninformed, but it seems like it.
The guy winning the purse bid couldn't come up with the money - Very little money for Whyte anyway.
He now gets a chance to fight for more money, on a bigger platform against a more well-known fighter who's ranked higher than Pulev.
