Whyte has proven he’ll fight anyone
But Hearns probably a little salty his grand plan of using Whyte as a pawn against Wilder to prevent a AJ fight didn’t materialize and the fact the WBC basically Told him to suck a D.ick Whyte has to fight Ortiz if he wants a opportunity and the fact Ortiz is a highly skilled lefty that could easily kill the Whyte hype for less $ then what a Parker fight would generate
Made Hearn try and make the Pulev and Parker fights instead of Ortiz
Wilder still didn't want that work. Scared to death.

How is that NOT a duck?
The guy winning the purse bid couldn't come up with the money - Very little money for Whyte anyway.
He now gets a chance to fight for more money, on a bigger platform against a more well-known fighter who's ranked higher than Pulev.

Like it was even remotely comparable to say, Malik Scott running around the ring agaisnt Ortiz...
AJ didnt land a single right hand on Parker all night long, and people act like it was some kind of masterclass where JP couldnt do a thing
This is the narrative that the same people before the fight were saying that parker wouldnt last beyond 3 rounds FFS
It was the most awful fight I've seen. Worse than Fury vs Klitschko.

Parker vs Whyte is a far better fight than Ortiz against Whyte, both these guys are conditioned for 12 rounds and dedicated right now which is than be said of Ortiz who looked like a six round fighter against Wilder, I suppose he’s in better shape than Haye who looked like a two round fighter against a domestic level scrub in Bellew his last outing.
I’m a little disappointed Pulev won’t get a shot at Whyte but I see what Hearn has at play here, Parker needs a stoppage to win in the U.K. and an AJ vs Whyte fight does huge in house numbers. Like it or not Parker is a lazy fighter, he has power though, that’s undeniable, Hughie Fury wanted zero part of Parker after the first punch landed and succeeded to run for the hills the following 11 rounds.

Pointless fight, Parker is not a ****er, and will box to an easy decision.
This does nothing to advance either man, straight money grab by all parties

Parker should win this by wide decision. Whyte is not a very skilled fighter and if Joshua couldn't get Parker out of there, neither will Whyte.
