  • You can slide it how you want however let me tell you this.

Hearn made an offer to wilder over two weeks ago with fights in uk either September, December or February of wilders choosing. We know this is an improved offer from the initial offer and has not been leaked. This suggests this isn’t a mile away from being done but just which timeframe. I would guess it won’t end up being next, and December would then be a small timeframe if it were to happen following both having alternative fights.

That said, I think most would be happy with that. With a potential rematch in Vegas summer of 2019

blame beyonce wilder for ducking and that pathetic publicity stunt but looking at your avi you're too ******ed to know what's really going on.

      • That's a far better fight than that slow ass molassess Breazeale fight.
Don't even know how Wilder gets inspiration and motivation from such fights.

Right, but they were only saying it was worth that much in the US.

So if his premise was, if the fight is really worth that much in the US, give me $50 million and I'll sign tomorrow. He was trying to call their bluff and prove it wasn't really worth $100 million in the US.

Obviously he wasn't saying "if the fight is really worth $100 million in the US, give me $50 million and I'll sign tomorrow, but I won't fight in the US even though that exactly what I was just talking about."

AJ was commenting on Wilder's team's insistence the fight could make $100 million in the US. To call their bluff he said if it can really make $100 million in the US, give me $50 million and I'll sign tomorrow.

So don't try to act like location wasn't stipulated. The entire $50 million request was based on the notion that Team Wilder was claiming the fight could make $100 million in America.
So true. In addition, Joshua was probably led to believe that the $50 million would have to be shared with Hearn and his backers. So after their substantial cut and giving Wilder a $12.5 million flat fee, Joshua would end up making about the same as he would in the UK, provided the fight didn't gross more than $100 million...

I love the one's that starts off name calling. It let me know the intelligence level of the one I'm dealing with.

And if YKSAB, you'd realize that Povetkin is a dangerous fighter. But since YDKSAB, I understand why you feel the way that you do.

It's not only about the money, man. Giving up home advantage is huge in a fight like this.

How could Team Wilder offer a huge purse based on making a fight in the UK - they have no idea of the UK market - so any event funded by Team Wilder would be in the USA where they know the locations and tv companies. Joshua must have known that - he is not ****** .. or do you want to tell me he is ******?
So, you can't show me where Joshua said he'd fight Wilder in the states? He implied it. Thought so. People say stuff all of the time, sometimes off the top of their head, sometimes out of their ass. That's why a little written document called a contract was invented.
