Wilder's team made a 50 million dollar guarantee, which will only be generated in the states...by AJ saying he doesn't want to fight here, that kills that guarantee.
Since AJ wants the fight in the UK, and is willing to take a "paycut," Wilder has stated he wants 40%, or whatever he's offered, AJ has to take for the rematch. Those are Wilder's conditions to fight in the UK. Where has Wilder said he won't fight in the UK?
The problem is, AJ wants the 50 million, and ALSO wants the fight in the UK....that's not happening.

If Fury beat Wilder it makes a Fury Joshua fight bigger and all the belts would be on the line (of course this fight happens in the UK). If Wilder beats Fury then just imaging how much bigger a Joshua/Wilder becomes. AJ is the big winner in either of these scenarios and Fury an Wilder are winners also.
I don't think Fury takes any such risk prior to an AJ fight. At the moment he has his lineal title card to play, which coupled with Fury's name recognition and ability to sell a fight could be worth millions in any negotiation with Hearn. Would he risk that for a tough Vegas date with Wilder? Would Vegas pay Fury all that much, how big is he really in the US?
I think he fights his 3 no-hopers then either jumps straight in wth AJ or takes a stepping stone with some name recognition but without the physical gifts to be a serious threat.
There's simply far too much to lose in the Fury AJ fight.

All I can figure is Hearn greased him a little so it's 2 fights away instead of next, or the WBC will make more if there's more of a buildup. I can't picture scummy Sulaiman turning down money after the way he's been all boned up trying to make the second GGG/canelo fight. I'm surprised he's not more up in arms about this.

I don't give a flying fucc if he said it with a mouth full of chips or a mouth full of ****!
The fact is he said it so he should back it up!
I used to think AJ would beat Wilder's ass but after watching both fighters last fight and AJ backpedaling after requesting 50 million I strongly feel that not only will Wilder beat AJ's ass but AJ I'd afraid of Wilder. That's all there is to it!
Sounds like it won't happen next now anyway.

Now, come to think of it, if Haymon and showtime rate wilder high, why does he still average 1.5mil per fight and has never been on ppv?
You also think we can excuse wilders statement of I can fight anywhere, it's not about the money. I want to unify the division and crucify AJ for turning down a twitter offer with 24hrs deadline.
You also want us to excuse wilder that average 1.5mil per fight to turn down 12.5mil in the name of low ball, that is about X6 of his regular pay.
Now he pretends to be in a position to call the shots on location.
