Lol at a pay cut. If the fight is worth 100 million then there won't be a pay cut. And before you say the fight is only worth that much if it happens in Vegas don't forget that Deontay Wilder turned down 12.5 million to fight in the UK because it was supposedly such a low ball offer. If the fight is worth 100 million only if it happens in Vegas how much is it worth in the UK and what amount of that number is a fair amount to pay Deontay Wilder? And if Wilder refuses to fight in the UK and moves on to fight someone else who is really going to take a pay cut here? It won't be Anthony Joshua. You can try to spin the whole negotiating through the media thing as much as you want but we all know that nothing said in the media as it pertains to fight negotiations is real or binding. Deontay Wilder says things all of the time that anyone with any common sense knows are not true. If its good for the goose...Comment

Deontay Wilder has painted himself into a corner with this whole soap opera. It seems like he has an agenda here that out weighs getting in the ring. He wants to turn public sentiment against Anthony Joshua and Eddie Hearn. But if he accepts Joshua and Eddie Hearn's terms to make the fight he will have given up all of his leverage to accomplish this goal. Tsk tsk Mr. Wilder you have choice to make here: media manipulation or true boxing glory. Chose wisely...Comment

Did all of the phagggot ass wierdos that used to be called Pac Terds become Deontay Wilder fans over night or what? I thought that I wouldn't ever have to read stuff like this again after the Pac Terds disappeared. But I guess I was wrong.AJ will travel to America to face big baby miller.. if fact.. they would like to face miller in his backyard.. in Brooklyn. AJ and hearn has said they are tired of overpaying opponents.. and is not going to overpay wilder.. Hearn said parker was a harder fight than wilder.. an that AJ can KO wilder in 3rds! AJ has said wilder is too light.. and that he will eat him.. AJ has said "if this is a hundred million dollar fight.. and they are comfortable with taking 60/40.. I'll take 50/50 but give me 50 million guarantee and I will take that fight tomorrow, I swear" then hearns said its just a P.R stunt.. then.. we want to take a 20 million paycut to have it in the u.k.. wtf!?!?!? Stop lying (Superman AJ) don't want to face (Doomsday Wilder.) Either he is scared or he is on peds. Pick one scary fanpunks! Attention all fearful AJ fans.. yes, your champions ******** sag like coochie lips!!! Fight Povetkin an get destroyed in russia.. makes no difference to us.. Wilder is the real champion. Povetkin will fight wilder.. so we will have all the belts either way eventually! BombSquad!!!Last edited by peplz; 06-01-2018, 12:34 PM.Comment

No I have never heard him say he would take 40 percent, saying he would take 60-40 and then the reverse in a rematch isn’t 40-60 now isn’t it. And please restrain from verbal abuse or don’t quote my posts in future, am here to discuss boxing like an adult not cheerlead certain fighters.Comment

Here we go. Fake media. The 50 million dollar offer is real. AJ said no. His counter offer is he'll settle for much less money to stay home, and Wilder should consider going to the UK for less too. All that after market money talk is monopoly money, like gross and net. You want yours off the top.Lol at a pay cut. If the fight is worth 100 million then there won't be a pay cut. Huh? He was awaiting Finkel's response for weeks, because Finkel said they would respond "appropriately" after they got that lowball offer...that's when they offered AJ $50 million, if that rings a bell.
So your position, contrary to EVERYTHING else that's out there, is that the 12.5 flat fee was a lie?
If you're not here to cheerlead, and discuss boxing like an adult, it may be wise to brush up on the facts. Otherwise, you sound just like a "cheerleader."No I have never heard him say he would take 40 percent, saying he would take 60-40 and then the reverse in a rematch isn’t 40-60 now isn’t it. 1) Wilder will accept 40% to Joshua's 60% to fight in the UK.
2) If they (Matchroom) does not want to give him a percentage split, and just offer a flat fee, then Wilder has said he'd accept that, but they have to accept the same in a rematch.
3) Wilder's team has also offered AJ a guarantee MINIMUM of 50 million (which AJ himself stated he wanted) for a fight in the States.
Those are the facts. If anybody can look at team Wilder's position, and pretend Wilder is the reason this fight is not getting made, then they are a cheerleader. The reason I responded to your post, is because you are usually sensible...but if you want to refrain from acknowledging the facts (as Wilder has done numerous interviews stating what I posted) then I won't quote you again.Comment

Okay the 50 million dollars does exist. But its not an offer, its a speculative power play for leverage on all of the other terms of the fight. Deontay Wilder is not offering Anthony Joshua 50 million to get in the ring. He is throwing 50 million one dollar bills in his face and telling Anthony Joshua to pick it up off of the ground on his hands and knees. Which would negate Joshua's A-side status. The offer is basically an advance on his portion of the speculative amount of money that the event would earn. So if the event earns what Wilder and Finkel say it will Joshua will still make all of the money that he would make from a 50 million dollar advance. Here we go. Fake media.
