Because they're a Mexican organization and play favorites to Mexicans.
Why is the WBC wrong for enforcing a mandatory on GGG?

Well, had they not sanctioned it like the IBF, they’d appear less hypocritical IMO.Comment

Considering that GGG was Sergio Martinez's mandatory, and he chose to fight Cotto instead.
Given that GGG was Cotto's mandatory, and he chose to fight Canelo instead.
Given that GGG was Canelo's mandatory, and he chose to vacate the belt instead.
The WBC never enforced Canelo's mandatory obligations.
I don't think anyone has a problem with him fighting Charlo. That would be a good fight.Comment

GGG has pressure from all side. but thats his own doing. nobody told him to waste his time with a worthless Vanes fight. he could've gotten the IBF mando out the way but chose to play ******.Comment

Vanes was ranked #1 at 154 in the WBC, so refuse to approve him for a voluntary defense at 160 would have been tough to justify.
Vanes wasn't ranked by the IBF in any division, which made it tougher for them to approve him as an opponent.Comment

Because they are using it to strong arm GGG into fighting Canelo on his terms when he was the reason that the fight got delayed. Let's not forget that Charlo was n/a at the time the May fight happened, therefore missing a title shot opportunity.Last edited by Boxing Goat; 06-04-2018, 03:42 PM.Comment

You’re right, he should’ve pulled out of his scheduled fight; then get suspended for ped abuse. Calling people cucks when your profile name extols a drug cheat who waited 2 years for ggg to get older just shows you’re a massive canelo ****sucker.Comment

To face a guy like Derevyanchenko on 3 weeks preparation for very short money would have been ****** on GGG's part. Blame Canelo, not GGG.Comment
