You and others are simply looking for something to gripe about. It literally makes no sense for those two to fight right now when neither one of them has been able to market themselves and gain popularity. The fight is at least a year away from being what it can be.Comment

Manny was a big enough star that he could've NOT signed any extensions with Arum, and could've went on his own like Oscar, Floyd, and Cotto did! so now loma cant choose his fights but when it came to manny, "be a boss", "tell bob who you want to fight", "he's ducking", etc?
so if loma cant choose his fights, how did the linares fight happen?
and when i said "make an attempt" im talking about loma telling bob, "i want mikey as soon as im healthy". that's what i meant!
How did the Linares fight happen?
March 21st:
Arum, aligned with ESPN, wanted to make the fight and Golden Boy was open to it but it nearly fell apart over the date because Golden Boy has another event on the same night on HBO, when Sadam Ali defends his junior middleweight belt for the first time against former titlist Liam Smith.
That put Golden Boy in a tough spot with Nelson, who counts Golden Boy as his network's chief fight supplier, and he had also bought Linares' past two fights.
But when Top Rank and ESPN agreed to move the telecast start time back to 8 p.m., it meant that it would not conflict with HBO's telecast that night, due to start at 10 p.m. ET/PT, and that worked for everyone involved.
"This fight marks a significant step forward for one of the greatest fighters we've seen, Vasiliy Lomachenko, as he goes up in weight once again to fight the best lightweight in the world, Jorge Linares," said Arum, who then doled out a rare compliment to Nelson, whom he has attacked regularly for months. "I want to thank everyone involved for making this happen, particularly Peter Nelson of HBO and the Golden Boy team, whose cooperation made this fight possible. This demonstrates that promoters and networks, when they work together for the good of everyone, can accomplish so very much."

The fight happened because of Linares, GBP and HBO!Lomachenko didn't go fight on HBO, Linares came to him! Salute to Linares! Let's see if Bob let's Crawford go to Showtime for Spence Jr., or Keith Thurman.
Bob has already stated that if Loma's healthy, the plan is to fight Beltran on December 8, 2018!Comment

yeah, so loma had no part in making the linares fight right.
i know what bob stated!! i am talking about loma! i said i will call him a duck if he doesnt make an attempt to tell bob that as soon as he's healthy, he wants mikey.
now whether or not he gets mikey, i dont care, all im saying here is that loma has to make an attempt that he wants mikey. if he doesnt by the end of this year, then your wish will be granted and i will say he's ducking mikey.Comment

Fighters can choose to leave when their contracts are up! If fighters feel that the promoter is robbing them, or if the "automatic" extensions are improper, they can do something about it, if they have some balls! Lastly, if a fighter really wants to get out, they can buy their way out! Salute to Oscar, Floyd, Cotto, and Mikey!Comment
