so because this is crawford's first fight at 147, spence cant call him out? weird. i remember when another fighter moved up in weight and took on a lesser challenge, mofos were dissing him saying why is he looking for the easiest opponent at that weight.........

Its already been stated that he IS fighting the winner of Porter Garcia.

I mean why should he be calling out a guy on the other side who we know boxing politics makes it impossible to match up unless the money is mind blowing? If he did, the same guys complaining now would say "he really doesn't want it; he knows that the fight can't be made so he just wants to look tough". Its the same old recipe

It could take a while especially if Thurman doesn't retire.

I don't see Thurman returning until the fall and he's already said he wants a couple of tune-up's so and I don't think Porter or Garcia would go into a Spence fight before fighting Thurman again.

That leaves the Garcia-Porter winner fighting Thurman at the earliest in the summer/early fall of 2019 or first quarter of 2020 if Thurman get's "injured" again. Then if Thurman beats either (likely scenario) again he'll probably take a year off and a tune-up leaving Spence waiting to clean up his side until late 2021 so Crawford may have to wait four years at this point.

Best case is Thurman becomes a serious fighter again or retires and Crawford-Spence could be a reality in early/mid 2020.

Post #19! I just posted a video showing you that Spence Jr. said he has been promised the winner of Garcia vs. Porter next! That takes care of the IBF and WBC. Thurman will be after that, if he's still around, and that will settle IBF, WBC, and WBA. Last but definitely least is the WBO title! Hopefully Crawford wins that from Horn, so Spence Jr. vs. Crawford for the whole nine yards!
