Yeah, Lomachenko has had hand issues for years.
Loma used to stop a lot of people in the amateurs. Andrew Selby said Loma stopped and dropped everyone in a particular tournament they were in. Then he started having hand issues. Loma does have power.

Loma won the 2009 World Championships and 2012 Olympics with messed up hands.

Manny landed most of the clean punches? You need to watch the fight again and start obsessing with spoon.... people with no eyes watching fights.

I've actually been wondering why he doesn't receive the kind of hate from the people who always hate "show-offs" who taunt and play in the ring that we normally see. I rarely see it mentioned. It's almost like if some guys do it, like Crawford, they're mean-spirited bullies, but if other guys do it, it's like a cute foreigner thing...?
I've seen more people give Loma a hard time for showboating than Crawford.

Did they have access to the best medical care? Loma is going to be operated by the very best with the latest medical technologies (arthroscopic surgery). I think he's going to be fine.

Larry is also still imagining how Torrecampo, Singsurat and Marquez 4 put PAc to sleep for 10 counts.

Yes, I know at least two had it immediately operated on. One was a guy I worked with in a hospital, who has the best care possible, and was a rock climber. 5 years later, he still couldn't do what he once did. The other was an accountant who was out of the gym for 5 months or so after surgery, and never had full strength, even a year later. It wasn't even so much the strength as the flexibility. It's something that always concerned me because of how many people I've known who have been set back by shoulder injuries. It's made me very cautious.

I know fans want to think that things can be mended and 100% again but it's never 100%. A significant injury will always nag you and hold you back to an extent, which is really unfortunate as Loma is on a tear and in his prime. I think he's going to have a great career but I am bummed that he's going to now has gone through an injury in his prime that might hold him back from full potential.

Loma is not a coward like floyd who will hide and come back when everybody beat each other up.
