I don't think Canelo would give up weight first off. Unless something crazy happens in the next 12 months that makes Munguia the A side then Munguia will need to come to Canelo at 160. Or if there is any give with Canelo it'll be a 157/158 catchweight, but definitely not a 155lb fight.

So 155 maybe Caneloweight, but I don't foresee us seeing Canelo fight there again.

And again I think people are giving Munguia a scholarship to college before he's shown he can graduate from the 5th grade. He beat 30 odd bs opponents & a bs "world class" guy in Sadam Ali who lucked out & got a W over a ancient shop worn Miguel Cotto.

Lets see him beat a Lara, Hurd, Charlo or any of the other players or even a top ten guy at 154 first before we start putting him in superfights.

As much as Canelo pissed me off i'd root for him vs Saunders...idk why but now-a-days British fighters seem to want to take belts and just hold them hostage overseas..it's not really a new phenomenon..a lot of the 90s UK fighters would do the same as well. I'm not saying all UK fighters do this but they know that US/Central/South america hs more talented fighters and usually stay home to avoid them. UK fans also tend to justify ducking way more than other groups of fans. Mexican fans will call out their own, American fans as well(Thurman,Mayweather, etc) U.K Fans will justify a polar bear fighting a fox squirrel.
