GGG haters need to relax as he will be retiring soon enough....then that means Canelo has tough work cut out for him in the middle weight division unless he runs back to a Canelo weight division.

Either way GGG needs to stand his ground here and move on if Fishnet de la Hoeya doesn't want this fight to happen.

I love GGG but Canelo is the A side of the 2. Don't think it should be 50/50. 60/40, or 55/45 can work out well. Knowing Canelo he'll probably go for easier fight in O'Sullivan or Lemieux (if he can make 160).

This Eric Gomez dude is absolutely worthless! Pretty much said exactly what DL said.. Deals do not stay the same after you pull out of fights or pop dirty for peds that just sound utterly ridiculous

Not sure why some people think that just because Alvarez popped positive for the May rematch that he now owes Golovkin a higher split. This is business. If Alvarez is still the draw, he should be compensated accordingly. If Golovkin believes that the risk of Alvarez being enhanced during a Sept fight is with 50%, so be it. Say that and then we either get a fight or we don't.

Bottom line, fighting in May was good for activity but bad for business because that poor turnout hurt Golovkin in any renegotiations with GBP.

This is known.. Other boxers knew it..they said it...Look all I heard was "I fear no one"

and ran the whole fight! Truthfully.....I would rather him fight Saunders in England.

Before this PIGLET team does so. I know that will be a BIG ONE.
I kind of agree with most you said, I'm just not that upset about it. You also miss out on the circus aspect of Canelo's promotion. He stacks his undercard with low paid attractions, several fights of the year have come out of it. A couple of his cards could have sold without him, his fight wasn't the best in several of his shows, but he does get a pigs share.

in business there's a thing called credibility.

once your credibility is in the trash, people will step over you to do business with other people even if you offer the best profit margin. not to mention less headaches and wasted time.

it's more worth it for them to get more leverage in the business deal and have that pay day come through.

In Canelo's case, it's he's cheating and he could cancel at any time.

it's a high risk trading position. You have to pay up at this point.

do any of you clowns even business?

                    canelo is also tarnished goods.

it's like *******. It was 14K yesterday. then Korea bans *******. The perceived value changes immediately. Now you have to trade at 8K.

There's no Mexican idol that has retained his popularity after a PED positive test. Mexicans do not support cheaters oddly.

That is Canelo's stock. He took a hit. this is on top of him being a high risk trading position. Dude will pull out of a fight at any time because he's such a phagget. GGG doesn't want that aggrevation again.
