65-35 is a bit high.

50-50 doesn't work economically either since Canelo brings much more.

But considering that Canelo is the reason the rematch didn't happen, Canelo should have to give up more this time around. 55-45 is about right.

Settle for 60-40 but if you can't get that take the 35%. Canelo IS the A side. It's business - nobody giving favors unnecessarily unless they like you. You did many things to cause Canelo to really dislike you. So yeah - tough **** and accept 35% and if you can get 40% count yourself lucky.

This is a no-brainer. Really. And the alternatives are not great. Fight D-Chenko and Charlo and see how that 36 yr old body holds up. Chase BJS around the ring. And probably fighting all three brings in a total less than fighting one fight with Canelo at 35%.

I thought they agreed to 65/35% for May fight which seems about right but then I thought I saw 60/40% posted a few days ago. I'd say whatever the case is about 5% more for Golovkin seems about right. I do not think they believe they'll get 50/50 just a negotiating tactic.

Sometimes in life people do just say F it. If they aren't willing to do better I do not need them. Golovkin is a man who has already made a good deal of money and he is going to make more. Telling Canelo to F off after all the BS he caused because he won't concede anymore money is understandable to me.

The person's rep who is going to hurt more by this fight not taking place is Canelo. He should have some incentive beyond just money to make this fight happen.

Canelo makes more money but everyone knows GGG is the guy to beat. In order to be considered great you need to be the one to put down the beast and not Khan, Spike, etc. If Canelo pulls a controversial draw then gets banned for illegal substances then "cant close the deal" and goes to make money elsewhere he will be seen as a coward in the history books. Beat him before he is 40 if you wanna prove yourself. Everyone wants a piece of GGG, they know the recognition that's give. Very easy to understand.

Guys, I am no hater. I am a fan of Golovkin. But come on man.. 50/50 ?? You KNOW that isn't going to happen. Hopefully this is just good bargaining in hopes of moving them to something like 60/40, or letting Golovkin pick the gloves, or have his name come out first or something. They know they are not getting 50/50 nor do they deserve 50/50. Canelo is the guy with more fans. More PAYING fans. Take your 40%, and if you cant get that, take your 35% and get the fight done. You aren't making that money ANYWHERE else, and as a matter of fact you are making a LOT less.
