At a minimum, GGG would have to prove (not assert) willful negligence in a country that is known worldwide as having a widespread problem with tainted meat, as well as the intention to deprive GGG of income. Good luck with that. If a law were broken or if there were a rule infraction, you can bet that GGG and his lawyers would sue Canelo for tens of millions plus (you'll like this one) pain and suffering.
Suing does not involve a law being broken by the way. Proving willful negigance shouldn't be that hard. He knew local meat has a likleyhood of being tainted. He ate it anyway.

That’s not how it works because Canelo didn’t stop GGG from “working” or earning money or from fighting on his date.

You can’t sue someone for YOU not making their kind of money.

He only makes that money if he fights Canelo. If he doesnt fight him he doesnt make that money. Simple.

They’re also offering him the same deal as before and he’s turning it down. Good luck on that lawsuit when you’re refusing the offer youre trying to sue for not having lmfao

golovkin could sue gbp for breach of contract possibly clenelo caused this whole mess by testing positive for a banned substance.

Canelo's drug test failures diminished his legitimacy and value. GGG is now the "A" side as a legitimate champion. Canelo will reap what he sewed. Without GGG his big money PPV fight are gone.

Hold it the contract is null and void because Canelo didn't live up to his part of the bargsin. In order to make a new fight a new contract has to be drawn up. It can be the same similar or vastly different if both parties agree to it. Both parties aren't agreeing to a new contract for their own reasons. Under the circumstances and because a precedent has already been set by Wilder, Golovkin has a good case if he decides to persue it. The thing is he can't say let's negotiate and if it fails we will sue. He has to do it now.

That Vanes fight was a complete waste of time. but lil g's fanboys didn't wanna hear that lol. He should've cancelled May 5th entirely and scheduled a fight with BJS for June. Only opponent that made sense May 5th was Derev because it'll free up GGG of any obligation. Now he's fcked.

And the fact that the Vanes fight barely sold out the Stubhub actually lowered GGG's value at the negotiating table. GBP can easily offer him less and cite the poor ticket sales of the Vanes fight.

lil g and Loeffler have no cards to play with. Canelo has a full deck. Suck it up and accept or move on with your career.

I been saying for years how stalking and begging Canelo for paydays was gonna ruin lil g's career. he has been Nelo's b*tch for almost four years now.

All I know is Nelo better not fight bum ass Spike.
