FYI, before you start throwing labels: I think AJ-Wilder will happen. This is just part and parcel of negotiation. A negotiation where one fighter happens to be a greater commercial draw than the other.
What cherry picks?? last i checked he was fighting p4p fighters and world champions

It's not unreasonable to give Klitschko top ranking.
It's totally unreasonable considering he was coming off a loss and hadn't won a fight in 2 years.

He wasn't the man of the division at that point. That's clear as day.

You're right. Tyson Fury was "the man" but then his career went off the rails.

I'd say Joshua is probably "the man" now because he unified at least. Let's be honest though, he was fortunate in some ways. Picked up the easiest IBF title ever from Martin, then got some vacant belts v a shot, old, inactive Wlad. I give him credit for the Parker unification but Parker isn't that good really either.

None of the belt holders right now can really claim to have won belts from a proven champion, like Fury did. Then again, that probably goes for many fighters in the sport.

Thats what fury's style loves..wlad & aj perfect styles for fury..either plodding & you flurry on them & give them angles so they have to reset

Or they rush in, in straight lines with little head movement, walking into shots & counters all night

Wlad's biggest defence&offense were his height & reach. Fury took it away by matching him & having the answers to his style.

Wilder is a risk because hes unpredictable, unorthodox, quick & has some serious power with it

He's the biggest threat to a fully fit & motivated fury

A lot on here forgetting how special Fury's win was.
Read the article & look at the state of Wlad post fight.

Gives the fight due praise but look post fight. For a brutal war why was wlad more damged losing to fury?

He also never layed a glove on fury

yeah guys moving up 2 divisions or 39 year olds who scored upset wins. aka cherry picks. they were on the p4p list derpppp. this kind of rhetoric is for casuals it really shouldn't work on you. the prime guys were all avoided and you know it. they were also on the p4p list...better to wait until they aren't as good. thats what a cherry pick is.

By who? 2 years of inactivity and 3 years since he actually won a fight

They pretty much had to pay off the WBA to put up the vacant belt
