When did this happen?? Wlad had already lost to Fury and was inactive for almost 2 years. How the hell was he the man?
Why do some posters say Joshua beat "THE MAN"

Because prior to the strange loss to Fury, Wlad was unbeaten for 10 years. And he reportedly messed Wilder up in sparring. We never heard Wilder call him out. And we know of Deontay's long list of weak opponents. Fury had been out getting fat, drunk, high and losing his damned mind after his win over Wlad. And he got busted for PEDs. It's not unreasonable to give Klitschko top ranking.Comment

Also, aren't you THE Larry that defended Floyd to the hilt when he cherry picked fight after fight?

FYI, before you start throwing labels: I think AJ-Wilder will happen. This is just part and parcel of negotiation. A negotiation where one fighter happens to be a greater commercial draw than the other.Comment

Kilt was the ‘man’, Fury had no intentions of any rematch, he knew it would be a fired up ready to take risks Wlad, so with Fury in self imposed hiding who else was the man?Comment

He didn't technically beat the man as the man was Fury. But he beat the best there was available.
Only way you could think Wlad was still the man is if you think Fury was doping for the Wlad fight and that fight should be changed to either a disqualification win for Wlad or a NC.Comment
