Mosley's lightweight prime was 97-99 and his best welterweight days were 00-02.

Are you one of those Floyd fanboys that must defend everything he does and doesn't do whilst also not paying to actually go and see him live?
Floyd actually first called him out in 1999. Please do your research. There is video footage of Floyd calling Mosley out as early as 2003. Floyd in the late 90s had just turned pro and was little more than a prospect. He was in no position to cherry pick anybody.

The only video you can find of Mosley calling out Floyd is in 2009 when Mosley was near the end of his career and in need of a pay day. He never expressed any desire to fight Floyd before then.

There was an HBO telecast back around 1998-1999 where Mosley said "Will you fight me?' and Floyd said "No. I'm going to stay at 130" or something to that affect. I forget which telecast but it happened.

Again 2003 was Mosley off of a 3 fight streak without a win including two lopsided losses. Cherry pick attempt.

Show me where Floyd said that! Don't make stuff up to suit your hate filled agenda. The two of them weren't even fighting in the same weight class in 2003 and Floyd still tried to fight him. Don't call it cherry picking. Didn't Shane beat Oscar in 2003?

It was on a telecast in the late 90's. I believe Mosley even referenced it in an interview. You can search for it.

          Hate filled agenda? LOL.

You were trying to tell me Benitez resume was inferior to Canelo's by age 23 based on a debatable win over Trout with a clear agenda to make Floyd somehow look better and I think you even said De La Hoya was better than Hearns. It's clear you have major biases and feel a need to defend Mayweather's honor at every chance. He doesn't know who you are and it's likely that like most Floyd fans on here you haven't even bothered to go see him live so why do you care that much about him? Literally every single post is you defending another mans honor almost like you only post to talk about Floyd. GTFOH!

Like I said, post proof of what you're saying. Show me where Floyd turned down an opportunity to fight Mosley. You can't!

And who cares if someone has never seen an athlete live. I'm sure you have athletes you like that you've never seen in person. I've bought Floyd's pay per views and that's enough for me.

Floyd also schooled the guy in your avatar! But I'm sure you're going to pretend that didn't happen

Pound for Pound De La Hoya is ranked higher than Hearns. De La Hoya was more accomplished in his career when he fought Floyd than Hearns was when he fought Leonard the first time. But of course you knew that. De La Hoya is a 6 division champion while Hearns a 5 division champion. De LA Hoya is a gold medalist while Hearns is not. Those aren't biases, those are facts

Yeah and you also act like the bringing him up two weight divisions and not making the weight didn't happen either. Probably think that's Marquez prime since your one of those Floyd fans who think every opponent he ever fought was a great fighter and specifically entered their prime the night they fought him. Typical Floyd fan. More into their man than the sport and the probably jumped onto the bandwagon way after he won a title or probably even a few.

I don't care if you've never seen an athlete live I just think it's odd that your entire existence on this board is defending the honor of someone you've never met or seen fight live. Maybe I'm different but all my favorites - Marquez brothers, Trinidad, Crawford, Lomachenko, Estrada etc; I've felt inclined to go see multiple times and with the exception of Estrada actually traveled to do so and got on a plane. Even I wouldn't dedicate all my time specifically to defending their honor like that.

Floyd didn't turn down an offer per say he said he'll stick to 130. I don't care enough about it to even google it but I'm sure it's there online somewhere. He did try and cherrypick him in 2003 off the heels of a three fight non-winning streak and gift decision (like Floyd's gift) against a fading Oscar.

I'm not engaging in this nonsense. I suppose Broner is better than Monzon, Hagler, Jofre, Charles etc; Please don't even answer that because it scares me what you'll come up with.

Gatti was definitely better than Hagler and Monzon since he's a two division champ. Got it.
