Mandatories are what they are but.....when you have the chance to win the lineal championship for the most lucrative fight in the division, you take it.

The fact is that you're sour because Dan most likely insulted your hero at one point or ignored you, so you hold a grudge. Or.......you're just a pr@ck in general.

But, saying fat Dan's fat a55 says the IBF is having a meeting is a little inaccurate.......is that a fact as well?
He said there is a meeting so ask Dan if it's a fact. I'm glad it doesn't hurt your feelings that Dan is fat.

Johnson was GGG's mandatory after coming off a win against Eamon O'kane. And GGG was gonna fight him if he didn't pull out with an injury

I wasn't around Dan's a55 to know if it said anything or not so, I guess I'll concede that I may just be out of the loop on this one. I'll leave that to you fellas.

Canelo vs GGG wouldn't be for the lineal championship anymore.

The Ring title is a joke and doesn't represent the lineal title.

The Transnational Boxing Ratings Board are the closest thing we have to the keepers of a true lineal title, and they dropped Canelo from their rankings due to the PED suspension (as Ring should have done, but didn't). In order to become ranked again, Canelo would have to return and win a fight in the division.

Canelo is not the lineal champion. He has not won a fight at middleweight since May 2016. He had a draw which most feel he clearly lost against GGG followed by a PED suspension, he fought Chavez at catchweight, he fought Smith at junior middleweight.

The only way to crown a new lineal champion is for the #1 fighter in the division to fight the #2.

With Canelo suspended, that fight would be Golovkin vs Saunders.

Do we have to explain this every time one of you idiots bring up Ring Magazine? For the 10000X time RING Title has NOTHING to do with the Lineal Champ. Sometimes they have champs who just so happen to also be Lineal. But Ring is just one of many orgs that ranks fighters. Lineal supercedes any belt ranking meaning you can't just be stripped of it. That's the entire point of being Lineal champ it means you are the man who beat the man who beat the man ect. He is 100% the Lineal Champ despite what the The Transnational Boxing Ratings Board says. lol

And the champ never loses their belt or their status because of a draw. He was lineal champ last sept when he fought at middleweight he didn't lose the fight so he is still Lineal champ. Just like GGG retained all his belts despite not winning last Sept either.
