Derevyanchenko does not deserve a World Title Shot against the Middleweight Number 1.
What exactly has he done to deserve a shot? F U C K ALL.
His last fight was against a Dashon Johnson, a guy with a 22-22-3 Record and his best Career win was against Tureano Johnson, who isn't even a Top 20 Middleweight.
Derevyanchenko needs to fight and beat a TOP 10 guy first like Jacobs, Charlo, BJS, Andrade and Murata and then he might deserve a Shot at GGG.
Until that happens...NO WAY!Comment

if byrd was in on it she could have filled out a 115-113 card for canelo...right? if it was a fix?
if she filled out a 115-113 card no one would have batted an eye or said anything about any possible "corruption"...they would have called it a close fight that canelo got the nod in
her card only lent to speculation.....if she was fixing it she could have been less con****uous
face it...golovkin didnt convince the judges he was superior...despite being a career natural MWComment

They both got busted for PEDs and they both failed to win fights in their weight classes for multiple years.
Of course the circumstances are different, but result is the same. To be lineal champion you actually have to take and win fights in your division.
The TBRB stripped Canelo just like they stripped Fury.
By the time Canelo fights again it will have been over 2.5 years since his last middleweight victory, and nearly three years since he beat an actual middleweight AT middleweight.Comment

He hasn't won a fight at middleweight in over two years. He's not the middleweight lineal champion anymore than Tyson Fury is still the lineal heavyweight champion.
You can't get suspended and fail to win a fight in your weight class for multiple years and still call yourself lineal champ.Comment

As long as the lineal champ still fights in the weight, the lineage isn't broken. He's still the man who beat the man who beat the man. Canelo still fights at 160. End of story. It's really that simple. (and trust me, that's not what I want, but that's the truth)Comment

Probably but one could easily say that Fury was doing the same and since that's not technically proven, it makes zero difference. Fury's lineage still stands the second he becomes active again and wins.Comment
