I was high on Gvozdyk until his last fight...why couldn't he stop that guy, or look good against him? I don't know if Gvozdyk is ready/beats Jack or Stevenson.

As an Adonis fan I don't want to see the Jack rematch either, I mean this fight with Gvozdyk is by far more of a risk, but I believe we witnessed a bad call by the judges at the weekend, Jack didn't do enough to justify a win nor a draw in my honest opinion.
Can't expect to win a world title giving up probably 6 of the first rounds and then expecting to get every swing round go to you 10 was a definite Adonis round and 11 being the swing round that could have went to either man.
I doubt Jack would wanna target Bivol or Beterbiev those are dodgy fights plus Beterbiev has a fight pretty much already set up.
I think Jack would do well in testing the waters of the division a bit, he fell short against Adonis he needs to strategize better.Comment

Yeah Arum might make the fight harder to make. But if it goes to purse bids and they lose I don't think he'll block it and maybe they can agree to something before it gets to that stage. On the risk/reward scale I think the fight suits Arum. He has a guy in his 30s, talented but not a draw and who needs a meaningful fight, and an opponent who is 40 and has the WBC title. Gvozdyk would have a lot to gain and not much to lose.Comment

I agree with those that don't want the Jack rematch. He had his chance but failed to capitalise on a tired Adonis who was ready for the taking. Lets see this fight instead. Gvozdyk is getting a bit of hype so i'd like to see what he's made of. Not sure about his chin though because he was down against Karpency and he's not a puncher. Do we see a star being born and it's the passing of the torch, or does the old champ with thunder in his gloves have one more left to offer to bring an end to the up-start. Lets go. I want to see it.Comment
