How is this a good fight? Korobov has basically not fought in 2 years, spent his career at mw, where he was a good, but never elite fighter. He is 35 years old, and his last 3 opponents have combined record of 66-31. Dude has has 1 12 round fight in his career.
Jfc, for all the fools who complain daily about Wilders opposition and Golovkin vanes, Ydksab.

Korobov had a beautiful amateur style but always looked a bit stiff as a pro, although he was still one of the highest skilled guys at 160 for most of the decade for my money. That chin was always a problem though; he always did fine when he just boxed, but every time he went looking for the kill he seemed to leave himself wide open. Edwards nearly finished him and Lee did.
Anyways, regardless - good fighter, wasted talent, but at this stage he's been far too inactive for far too long against anyone of significance. A coupla years ago I would have said Korobov is a really tough outing for anyone... now? Hard to say. Could be a really good test for Benavidez, more likely a showcase against a washed up Korobov for whom things never quite came together.Last edited by Citizen Koba; 05-18-2018, 12:47 AM.

Unfortunatly english version of this page doesnt show the exact scores (russian version does), Usyk lost to Korobov by what they call "clear advantage on points", means the difference in score achived 20 pointsLast edited by Satir; 05-18-2018, 03:58 AM.
