Whos Defence is better Floyd's or Winky's?

Both have great defense but I say Floyd by a hair, you cant teach speed and Floyd has that. When Floyd loses his speed, it will be winky easily. Floyd isnt as good as Toney with the shoulder roll

I disagree. If you look at the Taylor or Solimon fight you can see that although Winky takes some impact off a lot of the punches he does get hit solid (just look at his face after the fights).

Also Defense is not defined by simply being able to stand in the pocket of an opponent and not get hit cleanly although that is a component but it is also marked by how well you do at a distance. PBF has mastered both while Winky is very good at 1.

Unlike Roy Jones Jr, PBF is perhaps 1 of the most fundamentally sound fighters out there. Later in his career he will be able to win fights against physically superior opponents based on this.

I think PBF has a better defense than Winky, I also believe that Bernard and James Toney have better defenses and put Winky at 4 among current fighters.

So what if there's a picture of Floyd in my sig. The whole point of my sig was directed towards Judah. If you want, I can put a picture of Zab getting owned by a different fighter and it'd still have the same message.

floyd's defence is better, he uses alot of upperbody movement,twisting,ring movement shoulder rolls etc. winky on the other hand basically holds his hands really high towards the front of his face, he catches jabs well, but i think floyd's defence is better. you not gonna see floyd slurring his words or talking overly slow that's for damn sure.

i didnt see floyd roll **** against judah he hid behind his huge gloves just like winky and rolled the same way winky does exept right handed and he barely did that, he was getting beat up in that style for the first 4 rounds then started fighting like winky and starting winning hmmmmm

What???? Are you joking? Mayweather doesn't trade? He can trade and is STILL very, very hard to hit.

of coarse he trades. u cant be a boxer and not throw punches. but he runs away from his opponent. Sure, in ALL of those fights he has his opponents hurt and THEN he'll attack. Weak opponents dont have good accuracy...

If u think Mayweather stands in front of his opponent and trades even 5% of the amount of time that winky does, then u are CRAZY!!!

And what u call "trading" we call "countering." he can counter almost perfectly. BUt as we saw in the castillo fight, get this guy against the ropes and its easy to smash away to the body. of coarse, its hard to do this but if winky's against the ropes he can defend equally as good as he can off the ropes. you dont have a significant advantage over winky's defense no matter where u are in the ring

What did those other 2 guys just say? Floyd runs? Have you seen Floyds last 6 fights? Go watch them. In every fight he is coming forward the whole fight and walking his guy down. The N'Dou fight is the only fight he moved some but he still traded with him the whole fight and hit him a million times.

Go watch N'Dou, Corley, Brusesles, Mitchell, Zab. He walks all of them down. In the Zab fight he fought him just like Winky fought Taylor and used Winky's defense. He's much more versatile then Winky and can use many different styles offensivley and defensivley.

I cant believe you guys say he is running. Watch any of his last 6 fights

we arent saying that he moves back the whole fight, if fact ur right, he does move forward most of the fight. But instead of standing in front of his opponent and straight up blocking (like winky), Mayweather will run backward to avoid punches. Nothing wrong with that, but IMO, it takes more skill and punishment to do i the way winky does it
