Not sure but they taste good with fava beans and a nice Chianti.

        Yes I know he’s in
What I’m saying is he belongs in there imo
Just cause of his fights , the excitement , the crowds etc etc

that fight needed to be stopped. linares wasn't in a position to defend himself. he didn't make a peep after the stoppage. went straight to his stool. the guy probably hardly knew where he was.

now, if oyu want to make the argumetn that linares could have tried to apear as though he was more ready, fine. i'm not in his body and woudn't, but i guess you can say he could have tried to just keep his head up and tell the ref he was ready.

but he didn't appear ready, did he?

Body shots hurt much more than a punch to the face or head. A liver punch is excruciating.

With a head shot, your brain doesn't process the pain, that's why a fighter can take multiple head shots and continue fighting. But with a liver shot your brain is clear but you autonomic nervous system (the part of the brain that controls heat rate, blood pressure etc) reacts. The vagus nerve is stimulated, blood vessels through out the body (except for the brain ) dilate, blood pressure drops and heart rate drops. In an effort to maintain blood flow to the brain the body forces itself into a horizontal or supine position.
This survival tactic is a reason the fighter collapses.

What everyone else is saying... Liver shot is worse than a headshot all day.

Hell yeah it hurts. It's trauma to an organ. Just imagine getting kicked in the testicles/groin area and you will experience a similar kind of pain that Linares felt.
