FLOYD moved up cuz he had no choice. outgrew the divisions and cherry picked all the way up. period
There’s probably only like five years between Floyd’s last fight at 130 and his fight against DLH at 154. Floyd literally would have had to hit puberty at thirty for him to grow outta that many divisions in that short a time.

As for Lomachencko having to move up because nobody would fight him. I’m assuming you’re new to boxing. Because Floyd pretty much begged anybody that was somebody between featherweight and jr middleweight for fight and couldn’t get fight with any of them. Mosley and Nasim Hamed come to mind first.

That's the **** i'm talking about, not Robin Givens! I'm not praising him for his whole career. I'm talking about what that man did from the time he failed to make the Olympic team, until the Douglas fight! Mike was only 24 when he lost to Douglas! That was an amazing run!
I understand what you’re saying. But you’re rating Mike based on you admiration for him. That’s not the way it works. Project Pat is my favorite rapper ever. But just because I like him up there with the likes of Tupac and Biggie. I’m well aware of his limitations as an MC, but I still like his music.

        • Ugh, can't we just appreciate the man's greatness, FFS?

He doesn't have to be "unprecedented" to be great.

All he has to do is be better than everybody who's fighting right now and he is.

Jorge Linares is a great fighter, one of the best in the world, but even with a weight advantage could he overcome the Matrix.

Loma's already special. How special is yet to be seen.

Yes, Loma is great and I love to see him fight, but this "we've never seen anything like Loma" stuff is getting out of hand.
Loma had TWO gold medals. May doesnt have any Gold medals and has a lost in the olympica.May became a pro at younger age, so u can’t compare by age. Plus may body had a chance to grow because he became a pro before he was 20

            • ok, so we've never seen a defensive fighter with offense. So Ali, Sweet Pea, and Mayweather(140 and under) never existed. Please stop this ****

we can appreacite what he's doing, but we need to stop this "we've never seen this before' ****. And no Linares isn't great. he's very good and this was a good win, but nobody with a fully functioning brain should have picked Linares to win. My actual prediction for the fight was that he would carve Linares face up. Do a search

Actually floyd avoided a fight with Mosley who was at 135 when floyd was at 130. I remember that well and it's been changed around to the point that people are spreading lies that Mosley ducked him. I used to have it on VHS back in the 90s when there was an interivew about it when NO ONE in the mainstream knew mayweather. Nobody wanted to fight mosley. Stevie Johnston or Mayweahter(who was at 130) so he jumped 2 weight classes for a tune up fight that led to the De la **** fight. Do u really believe Mosley ducked Floyd to fight De la hoya, Forrest twice(who no one wanted to fight) and Wright twice(who no one wanted to fight). Does that make sense?

Floyd got dropped by judah. Not Corley. haha. did you even see that fight? I hate to defend mayweather cuz I hate that mf, but in no way did Corley drop him or come close to dropping him. He stunned him real good though.
