FLOYD moved up cuz he had no choice. outgrew the divisions and cherry picked all the way up. period
As for Lomachencko having to move up because nobody would fight him. I’m assuming you’re new to boxing. Because Floyd pretty much begged anybody that was somebody between featherweight and jr middleweight for fight and couldn’t get fight with any of them. Mosley and Nasim Hamed come to mind first.

That's the **** i'm talking about, not Robin Givens! I'm not praising him for his whole career. I'm talking about what that man did from the time he failed to make the Olympic team, until the Douglas fight! Mike was only 24 when he lost to Douglas! That was an amazing run!

Ugh, can't we just appreciate the man's greatness, FFS?
He doesn't have to be "unprecedented" to be great.
All he has to do is be better than everybody who's fighting right now and he is.
Jorge Linares is a great fighter, one of the best in the world, but even with a weight advantage could he overcome the Matrix.
Loma's already special. How special is yet to be seen.

Yes, Loma is great and I love to see him fight, but this "we've never seen anything like Loma" stuff is getting out of hand.Last edited by boxingitis; 05-14-2018, 10:26 PM.
